First of all, the lilac color is beautiful! It looks even better in person and makes the bottle feel a little more fun to use every day. I also really like the overall design. The straw stays covered when not in use, which is a nice touch, and it has both a side handle and a carry loop, so it’s easy to grab and carry even though it holds a full 64 oz. There’s also an option to lock the opening, which makes it feel much more secure for travel and helps prevent accidental leaks. The time markers are useful for keeping track of how much I’m drinking throughout the day, and honestly, having a bottle this large and convenient has definitely helped me drink more water. Practical, pretty, and thoughtfully designed. Definitely recommend!

I’ve had this water bottle for 3 years and still love it! My favorite things is that is had two giant handles, a locking lid, and is sooo easy to wash. I like that the straw comes off to wash and the mouthpiece isn’t hard plastic . All my times have rubbed off, but honestly I didn’t care much about them to begin with. This may be a dealbreaker for you if you like ice cold water since this version isn’t insulated but if you prefer room temp like me, it’s perfect. I also usually sit mine in the seat next to me in the car since it does not fit in the cup holders. I’ve seen reviews about leaking and have never dealt with that as long as I’ve had this bottle unless I put the cap on wrong. If it’s not tight enough it could leak, but this thing is durable and goes everywhere with me and gets tossed in my car, on my couch, work, walking, the bed, and mine does not leak. The cap also locks closed which I like too! Overall great water bottle!

Overall this jug is adequate. I can fill it in the morning and know how much to drink all day. However, it certainly is NOT leak proof. I have spilled several times trying to tighten it to stop the leaking, but fail every time. I am thankful the straw works for me because if I had to tip it up every time I drank I’d be soaked wearing more than consumed. I like the double set of threads to allow left or right orientation of the lid. I do switch out depending on which table I set it on. Plus, always lifting the full jug would seriously overdevelop one side. Lol. My other complaint is although I am glad the handle is not a pass through to allow unreachable mildew to form I feel the separate pieces could be molded together better. When full the handle components strain and groan in a plasticy kind of way. It doesn’t win a vote of confidence for the long haul. I was pleased that this arrived with no odors and does not leach any flavors or impurities into my drinking water. It stays just as filtered as I put it in. The last thing I have yet to test is how dishwasher safe it is. I have only hand washed it thus far. But I hope to find it passing on this point as well. If not, I will update this review. This is a sit-on-the-desk/table bottle only. Definitely not for tossing into gym bag or taking to the beach. I could consider taking it to the flea market if I could keep it upright. It would be nice if it had a rubber/silicone bottom to not mar up the wood furniture too. I bought one but it’s not exactly a perfect fit.

Love this jug! It holds half gallon and more. It doesn’t have the 64oz mark though. Dropped it and it’s pretty tough. Thick plastic and the handle has a rubber like material for better hold. I only use water but it’s really easy to clean. Purple/ Lilac is a cute color. I think I may get the stormy grey next. It definitely worth the purchase 👍

This water bottle has quickly become one of my favorite purchases. The 64-ounce capacity is perfect because I can fill it once and know exactly how much water I’ve had throughout the day without constantly refilling smaller bottles. The handle makes it surprisingly easy to carry, even when it’s completely full. I also love the built-in straw and flip-top lid. The bottle is a nice size and so is the handle. The lid is tight and the lock feature is nice. BUT, do you see the tiny hole on the top of the lid? I guess it’s there to help the water come out of the spout. BUT it is positioned in such a way that when the bottle is tilted back for a drink, water comes out the top and runs all over my face! Ugh! I thought that I was doing something wrong, and if I’ve missed something and someone can tell me how to plug the hole, I’ll be glad to retract this review. Depending upon how full the bottle is, sometimes the little hole squirts water on my nose, sometimes in my eyes, sometimes on my cheeks or forehead. Yes, I should be able to turn the lid so the water doesn’t spit out, but it’s not possible. If I turn it upside down, not only is the hinged lid in my way but the water from the little hole dribbles down my chin. Turning it sideways doesn’t work because the main drinking spigot is mouth-shaped, and turning it on its side makes it uncomfortable and not very useful. So….the best way to drink from the bottle is with the lid off completely which sort of defeats the purpose of buying a portable bottle. Also, without the lid, there are ridges for the screw top which have hard edges and make it uncomfortable for drinking. So I’m not recommending this product at all.

I have been cycling through water bottles for months now, one after the other, looking for my Perfect Bottle. I have learned I need a few things: A handle that doesn't protrude (they keep getting broken), a lid that pops open and doesn't need to be unscrewed, a straw I can use, an open airway that allows me to drink freely, a handle separate from the body of the bottle. These sound like fairly standard things for a water bottle to have but gosh darn it, I've had the hardest time checking off that list! (I also started to use a bottle carrier that helps keep my drinks colder longer, so that started to factor in- it's kind of a bag type of carrier with an insulated body. It works to keep my ice cubes from melting and diluting my tea!) I don't like refilling all the time, I drink a LOT of liquid, so I want 64oz minimum in size. With all these features in mind, I have been on a long, expensive road going through bottles to fit my criteria. I finally found everything I have been looking for in this bottle! I had forgotten what drinking from an unrestricted straw way was like! The last bottle -and the one I have used longest- for some reason has restricted airways so I have to keep unscrewing the lid to be able to drink. I think it's a suction thing but seems a bit odd. That old one was a Zulu brand I found in Walmart. It had a handle on top to grab but it broke in about a week. I could still use it, it was just broken and it didn't take the super glue at all. It protrudes off the back so doesn't fit into the carrier bag well. It also has a hollow handle that is rather hard to clean. This new one, the Ello Hydra, fixes all those problems! This one has a hinged and collapsible handle that tucks away flush to the bottle top when not in use. I have experienced no air issues, so I can just /drink/ when I want to which should not be a novel idea but has become that. The handle does not seem hollow meaning no liquid gets slimy in places a brush can't reach, which also means I may not need to clean with bleach now. The spout is still a soft silicone, which I like. The body of the bottle is smooth and rounded, which I like. The color matches my carrier bag extremely well which was not necessary, but I like it. I shouldn't be this enthusiastic about a water bottle, but I am! It's perfect! The long nightmare is over! This is the one to get! The 'motivational' time markers are just markers, there's no motivational sayings with them which many others have. I don't need motivation to drink and in a carrier, I can't see them anyway. If you /need/ motivational sayings on your bottle, then this is probably not the bottle for you unless you want to Sharpie on your own phrases (an idea that has some merit). I am better than good with not having them. I am over the moon with this Ello Hydra bottle! Stupid, yes, but happy! :D

It's cheaply priced so of course it's a cheap water bottle. It leaks if knocked over, the lid doesn't close all the time, etc. one time I filled it up and the top just gave out. Oh and the top mouth piece is made of like a weird rubber so if you have anything on your lips it rubs off and is hard to get off (lip gloss, food, etc.) I had it for about 6 months before I bought a better one.

Great sized bottle, and drink system from Ello. Lid is difficult to thread onto plastic bottle. If the bottle goes on it’s side or upside down, it fills the lid and then leaks out the side - not ideal if you want to put the bottle in your bag or for when you’re drinking. another thing I’ve noticed that when it manages to thread correctly the handle is on the left side - not functional. Wouldn’t recommend this product. Better off getting the metal 64oz, which is what I’ll get to replace this.

Es muy bonito y útil para tomar el agua personal del día y se notan los materiales de calidad. Hay que tomar en cuenta que es de 1.9L de capacidad, si es grande pero lo vale. Había leído comentarios que se derramaba el agua al voltearlo y dudé en comprarlo por esa razón, pero mi caso no fue así, lo he volteado por completo y no hay fugas de agua. Lo recomiendo mucho!

It’s a good water bottle to have at home, I like that it’s big so I don’t have to fill it often. It does leak when you have it laying on its side. And sometimes the lid doesn’t close properly but that’s probably just me. Overall quality it good and would buy it again.

Buen producto, el plástico de la botella no es de la mejor calidad por eso es que a muchos se les sale el agua. Hay que checar que esté bien alineada la tapa con la botella al momento de cerrarla. Eso pasa mucho cuando no es de la mejor calidad el plástico de la botella, lo uso para estar en casa o donde sepa que va a estar estática la botella. No es mal producto solo podría mejorar el plástico. No me arrepiento de hacer esta compra. Lo encontré con descuento, para concluir; botella muy bonita, funcional excelente para trabajar o tenerla en casa o en un lugar donde sepas que va a estar estática. La compré cuando estaba en oferta, les recomiendo que SOLO la compren cuando esté en oferta.
