Perfect for treating diabetic lows if you don’t mind textures
I’m a type one diabetic who takes adderall and a GLP-1 and this is a game changer. Some of the time I struggle to eat because of my medical regimen and this is such a life saver. With 60 grams of carbs and 20 grams of protein, it helps stabilize my blood sugar. The carbs bring it up and the protein slows the digestion of the carbs, making my sugar stay level for longer. If I’m not hungry or adverse to eating in that moment, this is a great fix. Packs a real punch without having to force too much into my stomach. The consistency isn’t super viscous or thick so it’s easy to drink rather than trying to down a thick goopy shake. It is a bit thicker than water or regular juice though. Consider Glucerna shakes - they’re so thick sometimes it’s hard to down them if you need to. You can also mix these drinks into other fruity drinks or a shake if you’re not in love with the taste or texture. It mixes in evenly and doesn’t separate easily. The flavor is pretty decent! It doesn’t taste super artificial and it’s not overpowering. It’s expensive for a box, but for me, and other diabetics who struggle to eat sometimes, it’s totally worth it. If you’ve got a really sensitive pallet and hate thick-ish textures or bold flavors, I’d consider something else, but if I had the choice, I would always choose these.

Crisp and light
This is a light, refreshing drink with 10g of protein. My mom has had trouble getting enough calories, so we were using boost original. But, as a dialysis patient, we have to be careful with phosphorus and potassium in addition to her liquid intake. This product contains a negligible amount of phosphorus and no potassium. And, unlike the milky ones, this quenches her thirst. I've tasted it, and the strawberry kiwi one is really delicious and refreshing. Be sure to refrigerate it before serving.

Best way to add calories to water
My son needs all the calories he can get. He has spastic cerebral palsy. So he’s constantly moving and burning calories. You can only push soo much High Calorie Boost in a day. And he loves his Boost. But water has always been his next go to. Over juice. I was skeptical at first because he can be soo picky. Example being don’t give him any favor high calorie boost. Or any other boost instead of his high calorie one. Just his vanilla. That being said. He took to this right away. He drinks 1-2 cartons in a good day. Just like his boost. I call it a win. He’s getting calories now when drinking water. I do mix ours w straight water too. And when he’s sick. This is a godsend. Doesn’t want boost when sick. Wants his water. And now I can get some calories in him where I couldn’t before.

THIIIICK
The flavor isn't as terrible as the texture. It's extremely thick, I think for people with swallowing issues. I have gastroparesis so this is good high calorie, low fat, low fiber, nutritional drink. I water it down and split it up. Just keep in mind the texture is NOT good, before watering it down i would throw it up every time. The flavor is mediocre, but it smells great. No matter what I'm just thankful they have something like this regardless

Beware of expiration dates on food products
Product is fine but am upset that the expiration date is not very far out. Wouldn't be a problem if I was going to use all of the product in a week, but given that type of product this is and how I am going to use it I require a 4-6 month or more expiration date. Disappointed in amazon.

Healthy but could be better for kids who depend on them
I wish these were organic or had less sugar for the kids who almost fully depend on them. My child has to drink 2 to 4 of these a day.. He has gastroparesis. We love that they are clear so that they are less likely to come back up.

Perfect for calories, but not for type two diabetics
The taste was great and very good ingredients. If you are a type two diabetic this drink may not be for you too much sugar. There was no thickness. The mixability was perfect. The ingredients are perfect if you need the calories because you’re sick it was a great value for the money.

Taste? Not Poor but not Great
I love the taste of chocolate Boost but hate the taste of the strawberry.
