How to use this multi tool pliers? How can I open and close the knife?

Opening the multi-tool the pliers are opened. The knife has a "nub" on the side that opens the knife. The knife locks into place. To release the knife into closed position, there's an internal "bar" that slides to the left.

How to close the camping multitool

It folds back the way it unfolded, mine was a bit stiff at first. To fold the knife blade back, there is a small plate that locks it for safety you will need to push in with your thumb

Is there an easier way to get the screw driver attachments out? It took my using another flathead screwdriver to free them.

Remove the whistle (sliding whistle forward away from the multi-tool) and use the flint end to push the screwdriver out. There are indents in the side of the screwdriver, file & saw, but easier to push them out with the flint.

Is it stainless steel

Yes, the multitool plier is made of highly durable stainless steel and aluminum, very durable, will not oxidizing or rusting.
