Hobsir Induction Hob with Flex Zone, Built-in Electric Hob 4 Burners 60 cm

Looks very fine. Controls easy to use. Controls offer graded changes making temperature control easy. Perfectly capable of a very slow simmer. Heat induced across width of saucepan irrespective of size. Has no difficulty with my small 11.5 cm espresso pot. Noisy? Well, there is some noise from the cooling fans BUT drowned out completely by the noise if the extractor hood on even it's lowest setting. Twice as fast as gas and just as controllable. Auto-resize for pot diameter appears to work really well as I can use the espresso pot on all four cooking areas. Boost works very well indeed. Mounted above cutlery drawer without affecting contents in any way even with extended use. Recommended.

I bought this as I wanted to replace my knackered gas hob. However after a kitchen renovation in the past, my hob isn't anywhere near the cooker ring, so I can't go any higher than 13 amps. This hob arrives with a fitted plug, it was just a case of drop it in and plug in. The heat is limited to 9 (maximum) across all 4 hobs, so if you have one pan its 9, 2 hobs 5+4, and so on. If you need to cook on all it's best to heat them all individually on the one burner, then split the power for simmering. There is a child lock and a timer but the beep is practically inaudible, but I do have tinnitus. The two left hand hobs can be bridged, excellent for a griddle plate. Obviously as it's an induction hob some cookware such as plain aluminium and ceramic can't be used, but that's an excuse to buy some new pans!

Good product but very noisy

Just a great buy. It works fantastic, it looks amazing and it was a great price of about 120.00ish. The cooking settings from what I can see are more then satisfactory to cook, fry, and boil anything you might do. A warning light flashed if the hob is still hots after it turns off. There is also a lock button to help prevent kids accessing the hob. All the cabling is there to connect up to the mains and packed up well for transport to your home. The manual is printed in very clear English and easy enough for anyone to read and understand, with hints and tips to cook what not at said temperature. Now I would only consider these (tips and hints) as guidelines, not the rule. You will need to experiment a bit. The only really issue I can pick a little fault with is the hob makes a little noise when running. It's the cooling fan underneath. Now most of the time (Due to having two kids, the tv on in the next room, and a wife consistent nagging me etc) I don't hear it often. But if you live in blessed silence you might hear it running. All in all, I am very happy with the product and will say my customer satisfaction is a 5/5.

Loving the look and Quality. Yes it is cheap but having been using it for several days I cannot fault this Hob. Our Gas hob became redundant when we had a Gas leak and the pipe work was damaged beyond repair so after checking our Pots & Pans were compatible for use with induction we got this. Fittting was easy and quick and by day 2 I was using it like we had never had any other type of Hob. Surprised with how quiet it is after reading other reviews it makes far less noise than our old Hob!

A nice bit of kit for the price. Looks classy. Cooling fan is an unobtrusive hum. Controls are great with the exception of an easily activated lock button by mistake occasionally. However I wish I'd paid more for the step less heat levels and half increments on more expensive models. These cheap ones run the elements at full power all the time. So 9 is full on and 1 is full power in occasional bursts. However there are big differences in steps. So I made a curry and set it to 5 to simmer but it was too hot and spat bubbles. When reduced to 4 the power bursts a lot less frequent so much so that it didn't simmer at all. Also noticable is a very distinct and narrow hot spot in the middle. It's definitely not as wide as the indicated markings. All in all I'll get by and no real regrets but having been used to the more expensive ones I'd pay more in future for genuinely variable power and half increments. In my case 4.5 power would have worked fine.

Really good hob. Easy to fit into the space old one came out of. Good heat level and quick reaction when switched on.

So perfect, it beat my imagination. I will always recommend and if need be I will order again when needed. More than 5star for you guys.
