Chocolate Brownie Mix | Keto Baking Mix | Sugar-Free, Gluten-Free, Grain-Free, Nut-Free, Soy-Free & Low Carb Baking Mix | Diabetic, Atkins & WW Friendly (Pack of 1)

I made these brownies and added 1 cup of walnuts to it. Very tasty. It gives you the option of making them "fudgy" or "cakey" -- I chose to make them fudgy. The only issue I had with them is that they are a little too sweet. But, otherwise, very tasty and pretty close to non-keto brownies.

I've been on Keto for over a year now - my fix for a diabetes diagnosis. Well... to make a long story short, it worked! My A1C is NORMAL! This whole time, I've searched for Keto-friendly products because ...well, if you're on Keto, you know how much is sucks to stay on it! There's nothing that tastes GOOD, or facsimiles of products you used to love to consume. Good Dee's has a range of items that I'd swear are the real thing! Double-chocolate cookies, sugar cookies, corn bread, devil's food cake... it's a very long list! One of the best items Deana makes is the chocolate brownie mix! Depending on the type of mix, you add more or fewer eggs. I always use butter, but some want to make it vegan and put in substitutes, or coconut oil..which gives it a coconut flavor. These are gooey.. or fluffy, depending on how you make them, and as you can see by the plate image...they come out fabulous! I confine myself to ONE brownie - yes, it's tough to do! Still, if you had more than one, it's still ultra-low carb! 12 brownies divided at 2 net carbs per... done! This mixes up in just a few minutes - I have to melt a lot of butter first ...and cool it by cooling the pan so it doesn't cook the eggs. Stir..spray or line an 8" x 8" pan, and you're done! We've even frosted it with her chocolate frosting mixes - just another carb added! I highly recommend this. I've tried several other brands...they're not bad... but this is the best one by far! I believe she's now offering multi-packs of the brownie mix...which is more proof of how popular they are!

As low carb products go, my opinion is that it's pretty good. The erythritol is a bit strong and they are better hot-hot out of the oven. I wish they made this with a mixture of stevia and erythritol and xylitol as that seems to taste a bit better to me. If you can deal with the erythritol though, they are very tasty! The chocolate is rich and they cook up well in the oven, although I had to bake them almost twice as long as suggested (I use my oven all the time so I don't think the temp was off). Anyway, I'll probably try their other products as well. This one was worth saving some hassle of making it from scratch, which is what I usually have to do. One last thought is that this was a bit pricey. I'd like to see it drop about $3.00. I'm still going to buy it again sometime though.

This was an amazing keto find for someone who has a sweet tooth amd loves chocolate. I also added protein powder to the mix and followed the recipe behind. Used unsalted butter and 3 eggs for cake like brownie verses a fudge brownie as per instructions. Did not need to add sugar as it has stevia. However it was not bitter in taste. Came out moist, fluffy and is delicious. Cannot tell the difference between keto verses a real chocolate brownie. With that said everything should ge in moderation. One tiny piece is just enough for my sugar cravings without feeling guilty. A must try for those on keto.

I was excited to find a brownies mix with 1g of net carbs per brownies; however, the 2nd ingredient on this is soluble tapioca fiber, also known as IMO (isomaltooligosaccharide). I didn't notice this until after purchase. Based on the amounts on the label, it looks like that's listed under fiber, which means it's subtracted to get the net carbs. This ingredient has a glycemic index that's at least as high as table sugar. The FDA has determined that companies can't list this as fiber on the nutrition label and have until Jan/2020 or Jan/2021 (for smaller companies) to comply with removing it from the fiber count. A few years ago a lawsuit was filed against Quest about listing IMO as fiber. It was dismissed and Quest changed their formulation. There are 5g of fiber listed on the label. To be safe, someone who is diabetic and/or on a low carb diet should treat this as having net carbs of 5-6g per serving. That's still low enough that it can be part of a low carb diet if consumed in moderation. I repeatedly checked my own blood sugar levels after eating a couple of these. My blood sugar hit a peak about 20mg/dL above its base. That's a spike, but not a particularly large one, so this isn't a huge concern for me, but others should be aware that it might impact blood sugars and potentially kick them out of ketosis. On the plus side: While I haven't found anything as tasty as real sugar brownies, these are a decent substitute. I like the gooey kind and these work well. Like all low carb brownies, they are best when chilled.

I'm a chocoholic on Keto and I've been horrified that my usual pieces of Green & Blacks 85% Chocolate were so high in carbs but I always needed that fix. I tried Good Dee's Brownie mix on a whim based on other reviews and it sounds silly but they were sort of life-changing :) They are the kind of brownie that is more fondant than cake (even with the 3 eggs vs 2 eggs), and at first super sweet for me as I have lived virtually sugar free, and wheat free (I'm celiac), for the last 4 years. But I found taht one of these brownies gives me the fix I need and I found I could then forego my regular chocolate. They feel so rich, chocolatey and decadent they satisfy all my cravings. Eating one of these feels so luxurious. But at 1g net carbs per Brownie, even if I end up having 4 of these in one day (and it happened), that is still less carbs in total than 5 tiny squares of Green & Blacks that comes in at 6g net carbs - and I could never stop at 5. I've just ordered 4 more packs of the Brownie mix, plus I'm going to try their Muffin mix next too. I should also say that I've never usually bought mixes, I've always baked from scratch myself, but these contain difficult to find ingredients. I'm sold.

I eat keto and Goodees is my "go-to" for baked goods. I can count on the good taste and that they will not impact my blood sugar. I use the packages as stated on them or make waffles with them. I throw in other ingredients as well. You can't mess these up. They are easy, taste like real carbs, and are yummy!

I can’t give this a good review for the fact that any mix I’ve used I’ve always been able to use butter and egg replacements. In this recipe, I only replaced one egg with 3 tsp water and 1 tbsp of flax seed, and two eggs-which shouldn’t have made a difference (you would think) i used olive oil instead of butter-but half the amount. I cooked it for twenty five minutes-still liquid. Baked for twenty more-still liquid. I ended up adding oats to it and it thickened up into brownie batter balls but that’s all it did. Do not use egg replacer for one egg-i can’t imagine more than one. And do not use olive oil instead of butter. Actually i would rather not use this mix and keep my olive oil and flax seed with homemade recipes instead. This is what i get for taking a shortcut. Follow the recipe exact or don’t use this mix at all. It’s definitely overpriced too.

Habe sie jetzt schon oft gemacht. Beim ersten Mal sind sie nicht so gut gelungen vom Aussehen her, geschmeckt haben sie aber trotzdem hervorragend. Wenig Zutaten, einfache Herstellung und das Ergebnis sind sehr leckere Brownies. Jederzeit wieder gerne.

Bought this because I’ve been doing a keto diet for the last few weeks and was starting to miss a sweet treat to snack on. Super easy to make, straight out of the packet with additional butter and eggs. When it was done, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between this and normal brownie loaded with sugar. My biggest problem was stopping everyone else in my house from eating it which I think is testament to how good it tastes.
