Great set perfect for common jobs
Some of the tools are plastic but they still all feel like good quality and have been helpful for a lot of little repairs and maintenance on my electronics that I've been putting off The magnetized screwdriver (mostly plastic) is pretty nice. It has a rubber grip and it's nice that you can store three bits in the free-spinning end cap. It is the cheapest bit driver ifixit has, but it gets the job done all the same. Not sure how often I'll need a lot of the bits (all metal), but I guess it's better to have them just in case. Not like they drove up the price much anyways The spudger (carbon fiber) and opening tool (plastic, apparently engineered to break before your device does) were perfect for getting a broken drive out of one of my laptops that had been stuck down with sticky putty by someone else's previous repair. I was able to lift it enough with the opening tool to stab at the putty with the spudger until the drive came free The opening pick (plastic) (there are 6) made taking the shell off that laptop and my 3ds a breeze I haven't used the tweezers (metal), suction cup (plastic), or jimmy (plastic with metal blade) yet but I know they'll be useful for things I'm planning and they seem like decent quality Everything comes nice and snug in a solid case (plastic, fit foam insert inside). It's two separate pieces held together with magnets, they hold well. To get the tools out you just push down on the bottom of them and they'll flip up Only thing I might see myself needing that's not in here is a way to heat up and soften adhesives, but it's pretty easy to improvise a heating pad. And if it's something I somehow end up needing often, I'd rather just buy a heat gun instead And the price is pretty good! Each of the tools individually would be $37 from ifixit, and that's without factoring in all the screwdriver bits Plus it came with cool stickers! If you have use for the tools, definitely pick this up. If you're not gonna use them all, ifixit is still a great company and I'm sure there's another kit that will suit your needs. Or you can always pick up a couple specific tools if that's all you need

Quality over Quantity, absolutely fantastic
Always enjoyed iFixit brands, came with everything shown. All bits had their EXACT sizes on the side (T5 Torx, etc.) I really enjoyed the fact that the top of the case is of sturdy material and the magnetic cover was the cherry on top. Worked for fixing my oculus quest 2 (as it was the most highly recommended tool of the searches that I used) Extremely satisfied by the general size of the case and for my overall usage. Definitely recommend!

Great for taking apart laptops
I recently had to replace the wifi card in my laptop. I bought this kit on the advice of reddit, and I'm really grateful I did. The different bits were really useful for getting all the different screws, the blue prying tool was shockingly crucial to get the backplate off once I took out all the screws, and even thought it felt like a cheap piece of plastic it did the job. I am a little worried that the pry tool might lose its sharp edge over time just because it's made of soft plastic, but time will tell. The screwdriver is really nice; it can rotate while your other hand presses down on the top, so there's a lot less hand movement. I'm sure the other tools are more important when taking apart phones, but overall this kit was really helpful for me and what I had to do. Highly recommend!

Great all in one solution to get you started. Would be even better with more blunted tweezers
I've used this kit several times for DIY repairs and it is a great kit to get you started on fixing laptops and phones. The screwdriver cap twists independently from the shaft which I find essential for precision electronics repair. The included bits have a good amount of magnetism and are good quality given the cost of the set. The suction cup and the four blue definitely-not-guitar picks are a must have if your phone or laptop case needs to be opened using that method. The flat side black spudger is great for prying. The sharp side will easily bend or dull slightly, but it'll hold up well enough to be useful, and it won't puncture anything fragile which I think is more important. I haven't really been in a situation where the blue pry tool was needed over the other options, but it does feel solid and well built. I do think it would be more useful as a starter tip with a different pair of tweezers. The length and angled tips are great, but the tips are extremely pointed and can easily damage something if you're not careful. They also get bent fairly easily because they're so thin and pointy. I have a pair of tweezers with rounded tips that I will pretty much always use instead of the sharp tip tweezers just because I don't want to accidentally puncture anything. I think including a pair of blunt tip tweezers would just be better for a starter kit. The included bit selection is pretty good. I think it would be more helpful to include a T3 bit instead of the triwing bit - I was working on a 2020 MacBook and a T3 bit was needed many times. I don't think I've ever had to use the triwing, though of course your mileage may vary. The P2 pentalobe bit will twist if you aren't careful since it is so tiny. The other bits I've used out of this kit have held up just fine. Overall, I think this is a great starter kit for phones and laptops. I think it would cover more applications if it had the T3 torx bit and rounder tips on the tweezers, but it's definitely still worth buying. One other nice thing is the magnetic lid for the case has a lot of clearance. I was able to tape my round nose tweezers and a Wiha pentalobe driver to the inside of the lid without any problems closing the case.

Exactly what I needed and more
Great basic set, good quality and useful assortment. I love when little low tech inovative solutions are provided. Each tool is very simple to extract by just pushing on the bottom. The other end of the tool simply lifts up for easy extraction. Nice!
