Ordered for Meyer Lemon, happy with product.
Soil arrived in good shape, package sealed and delivery was quick. Bought for potted small Meyer Lemon tree that is kept on porch. True to size, I used/recommend following the chart for knowing bag size needed based on container/pot you will be using. Soil contents filled pot as chart indicated, quality of soil and consistency appears good, no issues with water drainage. Very happy with this purchase, plant is healthy and responding well. The cost is pricey compared to other soils I've used, but I will purchase this soil again when needed as my tree is doing so well.

Great citrus soil
I decided to plant lemon seeds so I could have my own lemon tree. Depending on how you plant your lemon seeds…I did it two ways. I just put the seeds with this soil and watered them everyday 😂 I also followed a YouTube video on the proper way to plant lemon seeds…where you take the seed out of the hard casing and then put them in a wet paper towel in a ziploc bag till it sprouts and then put them in the soil. When I sliced into some lemons, I got lucky that it cut through some seeds so it was easy to get the seeds out of the hard casing. The one in the middle is the one I did the ziploc bag way. The ones on the sides were the lazy way…placed in soil and watered. Lazy way…it took a lot longer for them to sprout out of the soil. If I remember right the ziploc bag way took about a week or so?? for it to sprout. Since planting…I would say took about 2 months?? Great soil!!

Citrus soil
So far so good. Wish packaging was a little more convenient, not a box with a big plastic bag i.e. a large resealable bag would be perfect. Also a little pricy, but ok

Happy lemon tree
My potted lemon tree dropped all of its leaves due to a terrible fungus gnats infestation. I had previously replanted with miracle grow citrus soil and it was not draining well at all. When I dumped the soil, it was near mud in the bottom half. I had not even watered it in at least a month because it looked damp. I am happy to report after washing it's roots and repotting using Soil Sunrise potting mix, it has been saved. There is new growth after just a month. Both my lemon tree and I are very happy. It is worth the price.

Saved my struggling/root bound orange tree
I had an orange tree potted plant that was terribly root bound and was struggling - I needed to get good quality soil for the repotting to give it the best chance possible to recover. I got this soil and repotted and here we are a month later and my orange tree is thriving and pushing new growth and even has the beginning of a flower bud. I will continue to get this soil from here on out. I’m so happy that this soil helped save my plant.

Terrible drainage
Terrible drainage. Water is standing on top of the soil. I will be replanting with a soil that has good drainage.
