Works well for me
I have had back problems for over 30 years and frequently have to visit the physio. My problems are in the lower back area and they come and go. Last week I had a very bad bout, and, more in hope than anything, I thought I would try a decompression belt. I have seen them advertised all over the place, with the usual claims for how effective they are. I bought this one because it was relatively inexpensive, but looked well-made, and had some good reviews. It was a reasonable risk. I was sceptical, but I have to say that it has worked very well for me (much to my surprise). In the past, I have benefitted from traction, but not many places offer this treatment now. What this belt does is similar to traction, applying a gentle stretch to the lower back, and although it takes a little time to get used to, the relief is very noticeable. I try to wear the belt every morning for about half an hour after my morning exercises, and I make sure to use it if I am doing any jobs at home that require lifting. Also good for sitting at the desk for prolonged periods as it stops me from slouching! I cannot say whether this will work for you, but it may be worth a try. It's a relatively modest investment for something that could provide you with relief. (I would suggest that you discuss this with your doctor or physio if you have a major back condition that is under treatment).

Back relief working okay.
I bought it to relieve my back pain. I received the product initially that broke after 2-3 uses. After I complained, the seller's sales team contacted me, and they organized a replacement instantly. The new one works quite well and gives sufficient stretch in the back. The air-filling method is not too difficult and holds the pressure until the air is released. I think it's not good to tighten the belt too much on the belly before starting, as stretching will create more unnecessary pressure. I would give customer service 5 start and the product 3 star.

Seems to be working
I have two herniated discs which, one after another, has caused the most miserable year of my life. More recently the left side herniation (I have the joy on both sides) at L5 S1 had got really out of hand. The pain down my left leg actually made my eyes water. I'm a fit and healthy 40 year old. I run and cycle 3 times a week and walk everyday covering 17-20 miles a week. I'm healthy BMI. Im writing all this because chances are if you're reading this you have a similar problem and you may not be as active as me. I'm living proof that this can happen even if you're not overweight or inactive. What this has meant though is that basically there is nothing for me except either "time" or surgery. So far I've opted for time but only because I want to enjoy the summer after this ruining the last 12 months of my life. Then this really bad patch arrived and in all honesty I had no idea how I was going to get better. I can't even lie down to relieve the pain now, which has always been my go to. The pain in my leg was so intense I couldn't concentrate. I've worked through the whole time except 1 day but I honestly thought I'd have to get signed off. I've tried pregablin but that seemed to make it worse. A good dose of codeine was the only relief but short lived and the surgery seems to act like I'm a drug dealer every time I ask for it. I had a bad herniation when I was 16 and I was immediately given a back brace. This time everyone said no braces because "you'll be reliant". Well being reliant on codeine doesn't seem much better! I've tried everything you can find on the internet. tens machine, scisticalm machine, CBD cream (that actually did help) countless supplements turmeric, magnesium, potassium. I paid for specialist pilates lessons. Swimming. You name it if it says "may help back pain" I've done it. Although some help with pain none seem to be sustained, so although a few hours of relief then later in the day I'm back to square one. At 40 surgery really doesn't seem appealing. I know maybe you will be reading this while waiting for surgery but for me the risk that another disc goes after just doesn't seem appealing until I know I've done everything I can. But this recent decline really had me considering I had made a mistake and just needed to get it done. We went away for a holiday and while away in the wild I realised just how bad it was. At home I can control things but outside I was really struggling. I happened to meet a chap who saw how bad I was and asked what the problem was. He'd had a similar experience and recommended this belt. I got it ordered to our holiday accomodation the next day thinking we'll its the only thing I'd not tried. Plus the only thing 3 physios, 2 GPs and a neurosurgeon can agree on is if this was 40 years ago I'd be sent to do the full traction table in a rehab unit... The first time I put it on I was sceptical. Took it off after 30 mins and pain was back almost immediately. But then I tried again and again and over about 4 days the intense eye watering pain stopped coming back. I'm not saying this is curing me and I'm not sure it works how they say or if a non inflating belt would do the same. but it seems to be lifting me off the nerve. Ive a long way to go for this to recover as even if this is taking the pressure off the nerve, the nerve has to repair which takes time. But it's now been 10 days of belt use and it's the first time I've actually thought I can get better without surgery. I've not taken any pain killers in over a week. Id class the pain I currently have to be fluctuations of 3 to 5 out of 10 whereas before it was 7 to 10 out of 10. Maybe it has nothing to do with the belt of course but I do think that's unlikely. It's the most sustained improvement I've seen and I've had months of no improvement at all. I'm also not susceptible to placebo given how many other "remedies" I've tried without any decent results. One thing for sure it's not made me worse so I really do recommend giving it a go especially if like me your only problem is the nerve. I have to say I do feel it makes me a bit stiff muscle wise so if you're still suffering with muscle spasms then do be careful and only use it little and often rather than big sessions. Good luck to you if you do give it a go. I can honestly say this is the worst I've ever felt physically and mentally so I know how you feel and I hope you get better.

L5/S1 - definitely helps
I don't normally review products, but this has been good for me. I've had it 3 days now, and there's a marked difference in my pain when i'm not wearing it. I'm not convinced it works like they say, however the support it provides forces the lower spine into good position. i can feel my pain ease off with 15 minutes of wearing the belt. My pain is caused by the disc at L5/S1 herniation compressing the sciatic nerve and im just coming to the end of the acute phase. I can walk around the house relatively freely with the belt on, but struggle without it when things are bad. The belt is best worn tight over a t-shirt and then i usually use a hoodie to hide it. Its a bit of a nightmare going to the toilet etc, but when its providing the relief like it is currently, that's my problem to deal with! Very impressed with it so far

Not good quality
I bought this for expensive. I was expecting a good quality however after a few uses it started leaking air. I couldn't even return it as it was outside return time.

It is Okay (just a bit expensive).
The Product is okay. I think it is a bit expensive for what you actually get (you can get for around €22 on Aliexpress, Temu, etc.). The Belt is fine and helps a bit. I am still using it and I will provide futher details if it is needed.

Highly recommend
Omg! Wish i bought this years ago! I suffer with a disc prolapse and had surgery so my back is very weak .. this product is a game changer. Supports bending but not like usual back supports. The inflated support really works. Its bluky to wear but does the job. Sitting long hours in my job so this helps so much. I get instant relief from pain wearing it . Highly recommend. Execllant value for money

Better than expected
I’ve had back ache for years but had an accident due to work back in February putting me u able to move for six weeks, I gradually started getting that bit better to move around and returned to work on light duties. I saw my specialist in September and told my spine is compressed at the bottom and has formed a type of protection keeping my 4th and 5th disco together. A few weeks ago after going back to full work I was out of action again I bought this to help along side my physio currently and it really does feel good. I’ve been doing 30 minutes twice a day mainly laying down it does hurt while on but not unbearable, the release after is fantastic though. I’m going to start upping how long I using for now and keep going as much as I can and hope it does something before my next appointment. The only reason I’ve not given it 5 stars is because you can’t sit in it, and my job is either all day on feet or all day sitting so if sitting I couldn’t use it. I wear a thin top underneath as it feels better but would definitely recommend.
