The Japanese Goth-rock band Malice Mizer has been one of the most popular and influencial j-rock bands to rise to fame in Japan. Forming in August of 1992, founding members Mana and Kozi conceived the band name from the term "malicious misery". Review: I LOVE MALICE MIZER - Great. Arrived in perfect condition and clean no damage. Kozi my beloved. Great album. Its not the bigger cd version that it shows but the regular Cd in my pictures just so you know. 👍 Review: Visual Kei Greatness! - Malice Mizer was the band that first got me interested in the whole J-Rock/Visual Kei thing and this CD is my favourite Malice release. The line up for this album, the second and final album from Gackt-era Malice (1996-1998) is as follows: Gackt on vocals, Mana and Kozi on guitar, Yu~ki on bass and Kami on drums. The CD comes with a booklet choc full of pictues of each of the members. Summing up M.M. is pretty difficult since their music tends to be very diverse and original. This album is full of suprises not least for its diverse selection of tracks which blend musical styles ranging from classically based tunes (Syunikiss, Bel-Air) to techno infused tracks (Illuminati) and beautiful emotion driven ballads (Le Ciel) in all of which Gackt's vocals and lyrics are spot on. I suggest that you check out the live show of this album to get the full effect (Merveilles L'espace) which is simply amazing: The costumes, the music, the whole production is incredible, especially if you've never seen or heard of visual kei before, it's a good place to start! Although Malice Mizer have long disbanded (2001-ish), I never get tired of listening to their incredible music and performances. If you're looking to get into this genre, are a fan of Gackt and/or want a glimpse of the Japanese visual kei scene cira. 1998 I highly recommend you buy this! 5 Stars!

It's Gackt not Klaha!
I have to point out that it is Gackt singing on this cd not Klaha! Get it right people! Brilliant cd, absolutely wonderful. The best tracks are Illuminati, Brise and Au Revour.
