SK2011 HIVIZ Sight Systems, Spark III-Threaded Front Bead Replacement

Nice product .. perfectly fit in my shot gun.. multiple size screw given with products are really helpful to get perfect fitting.

I used the spark III sight as a replacement on my 1956 ithaca model 37. For those of you looking for information on replacing the original raybar sight on these guns you probably know information is limited. On my shotgun, with original raybar sight and no other modifications, the 6-48 screw fit. It does protrude into the barrel a slight amount which may or not be an issue but I filed away the remaining thread with a half round fine file. The finished product is as close to smooth with the inside of the barrel as you can get. I’m very pleased with how it turned out with the minimal effort involved. I’m not sure of the thread sizes in prior or post models but I would assume they are the same as these shotguns haven’t changed much. At 10$ it’s a cheap experiment, at least that was my logic, and it worked out. The sight is small, maybe a 1/4”, and it sits slightly lower than the original sight and lined up a hair width to the right of the where the original sight had been according to the worn area left on the barrel. This corrected the guns POI as it shot high and left for me. So again, ithaca 37 1956, it worked, looks great and stays put. Good luck, hope this helps.

Pros: Provides awesome contrast for lower light environments. Mounted to a 1970s Remington 870 barrel that had an early style screw in bead. Note, it is not the standard Remington size BUT I did find that the screw that comes already attached to the site fit just fin with a little hand strength and a set of pliers. I like that it comes with multiple colors but found the yellow/green color to be most visible. Cons: Anything past low light isn't good for these sites. They are completely dark, but that's to be expected since they are not glow in the dark sites. Awesome price point and you get a well made product, I would definitely buy again, and will be for a few more of my rifles. Tip: I'm sure I'll get some negative comments (if commenting on reviews was allowed) however. Where I live you can legally hunt 1 hour before sunrise and 1 hour after sunrise. This puts you potentially shooting in near dark situations. I found that if you purchase a cheap set of glow sticks. Crack them and them cut the end off so you have access to the fluid, then gently apply some of the fluid to these sites just before a hunt they light the site up extremely well in zero light environments and will continue to do so for several hours. I find that if the fluid gets under the site a but then it causes the entire site to "glow". Just make sure that you wipe barrel of any fluid when returning from the field and rubbing a but of oil on the spot just as a precaution. Been doing this for quite a while now with no negative results.

This fiber optic sight is a game changer. It was very cumbersome to install but that’s because I have big hands and the optic is very small. I installed on my Stevens 555 O/U 12 gauge. It came with 5 different set screws for mounting and 4 different color pipes.

A little tough to install since it’s made to be universal but its high quality material and functions very well. Multiple color pins for different weather.

Really bright outdoors and good indoors. Easy to install. comes with assortment of different colors. Happy with the purchase.

Awesome products

For reasons only they can explain they use a hollow screw...it snaps under ver light preassure rendering the sight useless and causing a nightmare to get the screw out of your barrel. Avoid.

Easy to install on multiple makes of shotguns. Instructions and parts included, except for the smallest drop of blue thread locker.

C’est très bien mais le prix est exagéré. Malheureusement on n’en trouve pas d’autres moins cher ailleurs. C’est malheureusement comme ça pour beaucoup d’items de chasse.

installation was easy. took it out deer hunting this year and during the day the sight pops out and glows extremely well. 5 stars.
