Bootstrap humidity domes are the best made. I bought 2 last year, then came back for 2 more. They are extremely well built, will last a lifetime if taking care of. I have been gardening for 40 years. Very pleased, thank you.

If you want a cover for your 1020 bottom tray this is the way to go. Most other seed trays/covers/seed starting trays are made to only last a year or maybe two if you are lucky because they are cheaply made with very thin and brittle materials. Not this cover. I can tell it will last a lifetime as long as something heavy isn’t dropped on it.

These clear top fit standard-sized 1020 nursery trays, but they are much sturdier, thicker, stiffer and longer lasting that any others we have seen or used. I was skeptical at first due to the cost of these lids, but they seem to be a bargain as they last much longer than the typical cheesy thin and rapid-cracking lids I usually find. I will buy these again

So I ordered these for my shallow BSF trays, but they would snap on tight and had gaps. Upon speaking to a rep, I was told these do not fit the shallow trays. So I had the task of returning and no domes for my shallow microgreen trays. The quality is great if they work with your tray. I wish they would make it obvious that these are not for certain trays (10x20) like the shallow microgreen trays.

I'd heard that these domes were sturdy and thick, but I truly had no idea what that would look like. I've had dozens of the cheap domes over the years, and they work, but they flex out of shape and quickly break down. By way of contrast, though I haven't had these domes for long, I can tell that they will last a very long time. I would guess they're 2x-3x thicker than the standard cheapo domes and will support a tray of seedlings ON TOP of the dome (if you set them to rest on top for a minute). Never had a dome I could say that about before

Easily the best seed starting investment I’ve made. Somehow even with other covers, heat pads and lights, I’ve never had such a great success rate than I did since using these!! I was so sick of time, energetic and seeds wasted from failed seed starting. These covers literally made all the difference. So worth it!!

Baffling beyond belief, the Bootstrap Farmer humidity dome doesn’t fit the company’s own trays. This is what happens when you start off with a flawed design, and then shrug your shoulders and run with it anyway. Mediocrity, sold as a premium, hipster gardening accessory.
