ページをめくりながら息をするのを忘れる。で、思い出して息をするとすごく澄んだ空気を吸っている気持ちになる。…の、繰り返し。

もうずいぶん前の本ではありますが、マーカットさんの作品集は 海外のものも含めてこれがいちばんいい（ほとんどないですが）ですね。 マーカットさんがプリツカー賞をとったから出せた本でしょうが、 マーカットさんの作品がきれいな写真で丁寧に紹介されていて オーストラリアの大地に控えめに存在感を示す作品の表情がよくわかります。
