This is the modern way to heat/cook when you have no electricity, gas or can't make a fire. Modern camping food and military field meals (MRE's) all over the planet are now using this method. Im not familiar with camp cooking so when i used it i didn't realize the pouch would bubble up and turn hard as rock. Just fyi for anyone new to this as i am.

lets be real here, MRE FRHs suck. instead i use the pouchthe MRE came in with one of these little bad boys and in a fraction of the time my Meal is actually Ready to Eat. plus the pouch that the heater comes in measures the water needed which takes out alot of the guess work.

These are absolutely great I’d recommend the large size for most containers except for the cups.
