This book reminds me of the time I got my first computer and there was an enormous book on how to use it. I think it might’ve been Windows 95 or something. The point is, occasional reading through this gave me knowledge about things I never would’ve figured out on my own. That is why I love books about programs. This book is great, everything is explained so well. Better than chasing what I need on google or youtube. And when I need to remind myself about something, all I need to do is turn the pages. I really love when authors give their best in simple explanations.

This book is a perfect example of how a manual should looks like: each and every part of it is clearly and understandably written, followed by plenty of pictures and examples so it is really very hard not to understand what the author is talking about. If you are interested in sketching, designing, or any other field of work or you are an artist with a need of leveling up your art to a three-dimensional version, this is a book for you. Inside, you will find everything you need. Great manual.

This guide is very organized and well written. I read through most of it, but the main use I see for this book is as a reference. Whenever I don't know how to do something in sketchup pro, I open this book and very quickly I find the answer I was looking for. It is very comprehensive and organized which make it excel at this sort of task.

This book is an excellent guide for anyone who is new to SketchUp or thinking of improving their modelling skills. It is easily explained with supportive images. Starting new design program can be difficult for anyone and this book will definitely make the whole process much easier for you. It has everything you need and more. I would highly recommend it to the beginners and professionals who would like to improve their skills. Also what is important it is up to date with the new SketchUp version.

Ok, if you are totally new to Sketchup, this book may help but all the info is already available on the Sketchup web site for free and with much better guidance. Also, you tube has all of this. I bought this thinking that it would help with more in-depth knowledge but there is nothing that you can't find on the Trimble's website. Also, I thought it may be good to have it as a quick reference guide BUT IT has NO ALPHABETICAL INDEX! so very difficult to find anything. Save your money! luckily I bought the paperback version....

J'ai acheté ce livre en le confondant avec un autre au titre pratiquement similaire. Aucun index dans le livre. Absolument pas un livre "Pro" mais pour débutant. Pour ajouter l'insulte a l'injure le livre est en noir et blanc ce qui rend difficille de faire la relation entre les illustrations et icones de Sketchup. Tout ce qui se trouve dans ce livre est facilement disponible sur l'internet. Mauvais achat.
