COMES WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!
I purchased expensive door locks for my grown kids home for Christmas. I saw these and thought that they would be great for the grandkids to have when they arrived home from school. The boxes came in , but WITHOUT ANY INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BOX!! ANY OF THE BOXES!

The fobs themselves work just as expected. When received, the box was ripped, had holes and appeared used. The seller reached out and informed me these are fulfilled by amazon so likely was not something that they were able to control - issue has since been resolved & very happy with the customer service.

2 of 3 didn't work
I had 2 of these included with my Smonet lock and ordered a pack of 3 extra. I am not sure where the bad one's came from - the included or the extra - but I had 2 out of the 5 that didn't work. One kept saying failed, and one wouldn't do anything. It seems from other reviews that that isn't common - but it did happen. Edited - Smonet contacted me about the IC cards that didn't work and immediately sent me a replacement package. All 3 of them worked perfectly. I was very surprised and pleased with the customer service of SMONET. I have had no problems with the SMONET lock I bought, and with this very good customer service I can definitely recommend them.

These IC Cards are a great add on to rental properties. They allow you to offer tenents a card each and set the access parameters for each. You will be able to view access history and even limit access as required if necessary. The tie string on the ends make them easy to add to existing keychains. The best part is that you can easily order more for replacements and won't have to worry about cutting keys or if the card falls into the wrong hands - just disassociate and you are good to go! :)

I purchased these to go with a smonet deadbolt system. Programming them was simple. The only part I’m concerned about is the small elastic type tether that attached to the card. Over time it will break off and you’ll end up losing the card.
