SOLIDWORKS Exercises - Learn by Practicing (3rd Edition): Supplemented with Video Instructions

Exactly what I was looking for to practice some more real life applications of solidworks. Book gives drawings and materials and then has the final weight in the index for verifying you made the part right.

The title is extremely misleading. The book is comprised of exercises the student is suppose to duplicate. There is no instruction as to how to accomplish this - just the diagram of a part you are suppose to duplicate. The book says there are video instructions available. There are - but you first have to register on their site. Once access is granted, you can view the videos - but at least in the first one there is very little captioning, no narration - just a high speed video of someone drawing the part. It is nearly impossible to follow unless you slow the playback speed down So if you are assigned this as part of class - maybe. If you are trying to learn on your own - think a little bit more.
