I needed a voice recorder for work that was easy to use and that I could lend to co-workers to record interviews for me to transcribe. I wanted something within my price range that was easy to use, used regular batteries (because no one remembers to charge things) and had a USB plugin to download files. I have to say that this had everything on my list and then some. The price was reasonable and well worth the investment. I love the fact that it has a built in USB and saves multiple files in 5 different folders. It will also clearly record audio from a distance. Brilliant recorder!

I use this all the time and it’s very versatile! I use it for writing music and to record while rehearsing along to the beat. Sound, durability, functionality are great and no complaints< it’s very small and compact to fit anywhere.

I don't care for the gold-colored mics, but the product itself is actually quite good. The menu system, once you read the manual, is relatively straight-forward and easy to use. The color screen is nice, easy to read, and has back-lighting. Let's not pretend that this thing records from a million miles away. It doesn't. From reasonable distances it performs well. It has some really interesting features, such as a Dolby noise reduction system (which really seems to work) and gain settings (which I can tell no difference with). There is a slight delay between activating 'record' and it actually initiating recording, but this is minor. Deleting recordings is easy. Internal speaker is functional but not spectacular (this thing is very small). There are also some 'scenario' settings which I can't tell the difference between for recording purposes. I've tested an external mic and it works. The voice-activated function is subject to the same delay as initiating recordings, so expect some clipped results if you use this. Overall, a nice item.

For the price of this mic, I am SO impressed with the quality. I use these instead of wireless mics. Sure it takes more time in post, but I love that I am able to record on these and plug lavs to them. I have 2 sets of these and YouMic lavs so if I am ever doing an interview I can get both peoples voices loud and clear!

I have had this a few months now, using it twice a week at our Church. The recordings are great, and it works great for that function, but the battery is bad. It stays plugged into the PC usually between services, so 3-4 days, and seems to be charging, but when I disconnect from the PC it's never at a full charge. Today, when I unplugged it from the power supply, it showed only half a charge and died after only about 30 mins of recording. Thankfully I saw it had shut off and was able to plug it in to record today.

Great little recorder for the money. Lots of little extras and the mics remind me of the more expensive TASCAM recorders. High quality audio and it is heavy and not made of plastic. This is made of metal and very durable. No batteries needed lithium battery. I would purchase again.

If i could give this recorder zero stars I would - this recorder was hard to figure out and the instructions were a translation of the original language and a horrible translation at that- stop making this product

Bought this 2 months ago and it doesn't hold a charge anymore. It worked fine until recently, and now i can't return it.
