ARKA Dragon Stone Set 10 kg 10-30 cm - myScape Rocks Aquascaping

Dragon rocks are made in clay ground hence why they involve a LOT of cleaning,I used a toothbrush,a brush end off my steam cleaner (not the steam cleaner itself) and bottle brushes to clean all the clay pockets out of the holes as I bought these for my shrimp tank,I repeatedly scrubbed and soaked them in lukewarm water for around 2wks to make sure I was happy with them and I’d got off as much clay as possible,I’ve now put the 3 largest rocks into my 2ft shrimp tank to create a cave and I’m absolutely blown away by how amazing they look,some of the holes go right through to other holes creating a great little cave system for my shrimp to hide in,I can’t stop looking at my tank now lol I’m extremely happy and would highly recommend these absolutely stunning dragon rocks,yes there’s a lot of cleaning involved (bottle brushes were invaluable) but the end result is spectacular and has transformed my aquarium. I got a really good assortment of rocks and sizes - I realize this is probably a bit of a "lottery" but in this case I did well ;) One tip - clean them VERY well, including scraping anything fragile-looking with a knife to dislodge any loose bits. I was surprised how many more tunnels opened up as I was cleaning and in the end they looked far better than when I took them out of the box.

As other reviews have mentioned, the rocks needed cleaning. But they look really stunning and came in a great selection of sizes, perfect for most layouts. Great value of stones and quickly delivered. 5/5

Overall, good quality. As you'd expect some of the stone was a little bashed up from transport but we got a great selection of pieces big and small. Definitely recommended for the price.

I recently got a new aquarium and had seen many videos of others aquariums using this dragon stone so I got some and boy I wish I didn't I washed it and washed it to clean it before adding it to my tank but even after all the washing it made my water go so cloudy I could not clear it no matter what I tried. I did water changes and it just kept getting more cloudy. I think because this stuff disintegrates so easily it just kept breaking down in the aquarium so kept leaching out more and more cloudy chalk. I removed the stone and set my aquarium up again without this stuff and it was perfect so the issue was 100% this stone. I've returned it because it isn't fit for purpose. Do Not Buy!

I was deeply concerned about purchasing rocks I could not actually see. Although there is one word of warning. If you look at the listing, you will see the photograph says that they are up to 40cm long. I was counting on this because I needed at least one larger rock. However, the box received is 30cm long and indeed states up to 40 cm long. How on earth can you fit a 40cm rock in a 30cm box? However, the quality of the rocks is great. There is a good selection of different sizes so you can put together a good display. They are very very dirty and I did need to clean them well, in particular where there was a heavy build up of organic matter in crevices. I would say that I did not spend as much time as some other claimed. Maybe my box was cleaner? I have a 4 foot tank and wanted to aqua-scape it and add few more for my 3 foot. I was very pleased with the quality and therefore ordered another box to complete jobs. All in all, well worth the money (it would cost a 3rd more at my local shop), some cleaning required and do not expect 40cm length rocks... they cannot physically fit in this box. It does not measure 40cm in any direction! First order received in time and second a day later, that is not down to the seller though as it was an Amazon fulfillment order. I will add photos when I am able. Thoroughly recommend.

Ho acquistato (2 volte) il set da 10 kg di Dragon Stone ARKA mySCAPE per allestire il mio nuovo acquario Iwagumi, e devo dire che la qualità delle pietre ha superato le mie aspettative per quanto riguarda l'aspetto estetico. Le rocce sono arrivate ben confezionate e il mix di dimensioni era eccellente, permettendomi di creare una composizione naturale e bilanciata con pezzi grandi per il punto focale e pezzi più piccoli per i dettagli. Sono perfette per gli aquascaper che cercano quel look roccioso e pieno di fessure. Tuttavia, come spesso accade con le Dragon Stone (o Ohko Rock), la preparazione è fondamentale e richiede tempo. Aspetti Positivi: ✅ Estetica e Dettagli: La colorazione e la texture sono autentiche. Le fessure e i buchi naturali sono ideali per inserire muschi e piante epifite, donando subito un look maturo e professionale alla vasca. ✅ Pezzatura e Selezionata: Il mix da 10 kg è arrivato con una buona varietà, inclusi pezzi maestosi (hardscape principale) e sassi più piccoli per riempire gli spazi vuoti, come promesso dalla selezione ARKA. ✅ Sicurezza per l'Acquario: A differenza di altre rocce calcaree che alterano il KH e il pH, queste rocce Dragon Stone di ARKA sono inerti e non hanno influenzato i valori dell'acqua dolce, rendendole sicure anche per gamberetti e pesci sensibili. ✅ Versatilità: Ottime non solo per l'acquario, ma le ho trovate perfette anche per un piccolo paludario, dimostrando grande stabilità e un forte impatto visivo. Aspetti Negativi: ❌ Pulizia Estenuante: La porosità della pietra trattiene una notevole quantità di argilla e fango residuo (tipico di questo tipo di roccia). È assolutamente necessario dedicare ore al lavaggio, spazzolando ogni singola fessura con uno spazzolino da denti per evitare torbidità prolungata in vasca. Dopo la pulizia iniziale (meglio con un tubo da giardino), le ho anche bollite in un pentolone (i pezzi più grossi prima da un lato e poi dall'altro). ❌ Rischio Diatomee Iniziali: Nonostante la pulizia, l'argilla rilascia naturalmente silicati. Nella fase iniziale di maturazione dell'acquario (le prime settimane) è possibile assistere a un'esplosione di alghe diatomee sulle rocce, un fenomeno che rientra nella normalità per questo materiale, ma che può spaventare i neofiti. Verdetto Finale: Se siete disposti a dedicare il tempo necessario alla pulizia, queste Rocce Dragon ARKA mySCAPE sono un investimento eccellente per un hardscape spettacolare e naturale. Il risultato finale in termini di aquascaping ripaga ampiamente la fatica. Punteggio: 5 stelle (anche se in realtà avrei voluto dare 4,5 solo per la difficoltà di pulizia iniziale, ma su Amazon non è possibile).

1 Kilo Drachenstein incl. Versand für 3,20 Euro. Da dieser Stein für ein Nanobecken gedacht war wurde dieser mit einem Hammer zerkleinert. Leichte Schläge ließen den Stein in brauchbare Stücke zerbrechen. Versand in Luftpolstertasche und Karton, sehr gut verpackt.

Al comprarlo, pensé que era como la imagen, rocas decorativas con una forma específica, pero al llegarme, no es así, es un trozo de roca que desprende piedras por todos lados y nada que ver con ninguna de las formas que se muestran en la imagen. Si bien hace la función de decoración, no es lo que esperaba, por ello no le pongo más estrellas, eso y añadiendo que, tenía que haberme llegado la semana pasada y me ha llegado hoy, se queda con 2 estrellas...

I got one piece of about 30 cm, which is well suited for my plans. The rest is just gravel and mostly well under 5cm. Considering how much buyers pay for it, that's unfair. Too bad there is no shop in my area (1000km away).
