It's nice for headaches of some types, and for "escaping reality" for a bit. I put it in the freezer for a few minutes. WAY too cold. And I've felt - 30 F, so...yeah. I have found that it's cool enough at room temperature...provided your room is cooler than 98.6 F. It is tight enough for my head to offer some pressure relief. If you have a big head, it might be too much pressure for you. Headache or no, it's a good way to shut out the world. Train your family to understand that when they see it on you, since it's a "headache hat", you evidently have a headache. It's bright purple color should make it fairly noticeable. Not only should they not disturb you, they should also keep quiet as possible until your "headache" passes. Use it how you find it beneficial and allow people to make whatever inferences and draw whatever conclusions they wish, but this is a great hat. And since I already bought one, let's all keep our fingers crossed and hope that my husband never reads this review.

Purple Mirgraine Relief Hat-If you get migraines at least a couple of times a week you must have this! You will be so glad that you did! The only thing I recommend is do not put it in the freezer because once you put it on your head out of the freezer you might get a little too cold and then you can't wear it for a while. I leave mine packaged with my wrist ice pack that I got from them in the refrigerator and they work perfectly. I absolutely love how it blocks out the light and it covers my entire head to where I can just close my eyes put it on and lay down and rest. I'm going to order another one to have as a backup hopefully before they sell out!!! LOOK NO FURTHER!! IT REALLY WORKS!!! ☆☆UPDATE☆☆ I GOT A SECOND PURPLE ONE AS A BACKUP JUST IN CASE! AWESOME!!!

I really like this compared to other headache hats I’ve used mainly because it stays colder for much longer than the gel. It doesn’t fit me personally very snug, it’s a little loose so if you like compression and have a normal size head I would say this is not for you. It’s still pretty comfortable to lay down with as well. The ice packs flip around a lot which is easily resolved. But overall a decent product for a migraine sufferer.

I have chronic migraine and get Botox injections every 12 weeks but can still get a break through migraine. I have lots of cold packs but it’s difficult to get them to stay in all the places I need covered. It’s especially difficult if I’m sitting up to read to distract myself. This hat covers everything except the top of the head. There is a drawstring to keep it from sliding down on smaller heads. I open the string a put one of my small ice packs on top of my head then tighten the string down again. I can lie down, walk, or sit. This hat saves my life. I tried it with my husband and it wasn’t the best fit. His head is gorgeous but a bit big. Keep that in mind. Of course if it doesn’t fit it’s returnable.

I have suffered from chronic and debilitating migraines since I was 2 years old. I have seen neurologists, tried a slew of various medications, tried different supplements; you name it I have tried it. Nothing gave me relief anymore except time. I recently had to be admitted to urgent care because my migraines were lasting days on end. My cousin who also suffers from chronic migraines recommended this to me. I was very skeptical at the time, but the first time I put it on it was MAGIC. I took it off and my migraine was GONE. NOTHING has ever worked for me like this before! I highly recommend. The freezing aspect is not the most comfortable experience but if you push through it it does the trick!!!

Although this does help with headaches and migraines it is not comfortable if it is completely frozen. I ended up purchasing two of the gel caps to have one in the freeze and one in use if needed because they dont stay cold as long but they are far more comfortable than this. It freezes in sections that end up being lumpy and uncomfortable.

This is cap is so amazing that I bought a second one. I never want to be without it. It has saved me more times than I can count. It stays cold for a long time. I have to put a thin wash cloth underneath as it can get a little cold which isn’t a bad thing when you have a migraine. It also stays on and in place it doesn’t shift around. Can’t say enough good things about it. I don’t know how I did without this. Wish I would have gotten this Sooner! Best purchase I ever made!!!!

when im feeling a migraine, i will try and use this. it doesn't seem to cure anything. BUT it does provide a slight distraction. I think the feeling of the cold pain slightly overrides the headache pain. If i've taken ib profen and am waiting for it to start to kick in, this will help in the meantime slightly. But, it's never stopped a headache from getting worse or remove one after wearing it. It just kinda helps the moment go by. Which, is still nice. But, not a godsend.

A different brand and product was sent. It is not 360 degree cover. Even the stitching is loose. Not recommended.

Best thing ever when used along side your other relief methods. Only have used it cold so far and found it really helpful and I've been a migraine sufferer for over 20 years

Very comfortable to wear and nice soft material. Only issue is that it takes a few hours to re-freeze the gel packs. I’d like to wear this for my entire time during my 2 day migraine attacks!

i was hesitant at first to buy this, but as somebody with chronic headaches and migraines, and TMJ related head pain, (as well as being somebody who is constantly over heating) i really really enjoy this. I plan to buy a second one soon so i have the option to keep them in rotation. at the time of writing this ive had the product for just 2 weeks and it showed up super quick. 5 days iirc earlier than the estimated date. so thats a plus! things i really like about it: - super soft and comfortable to wear - when fully frozen its not like wearing rocks, very mailable - when fully frozen it stays cold for well over an hour - great to sleep in (the box says not to sleep with it on, so bare that in mind. i dont have any of the medical conditions on the warnings as well as got the okay from my dr just to be safe. they said it was totally fine. but for the sake of the company covering any possibly, i wont recommend you wear it to sleep. but if you do just know ive personally never had an issue as of yet) - doesnt smell weird. (a lot of reviews on different cold headache hats i looked at said they had a weird smell. this one does not) - it has a cut out for your nose for maximum wearing comfort -size is adjustable and can be loosened and tightened via draw string thingy at the top, ive got sensory issues and even with that ive never noticed the little string thing on top while wearing it. if you have long hear you could wear your hair through the top also (kinda like those toques with the pony tail hole at the top lol) my only complaint to date: - the lil cold packs that go over the eyes could be bigger/fuller. that being said as they are now are still good, but could be improved if they were slightly bigger. but the current size doesnt take away anything or make the wearing experience bad
