Item was perfect just what I needed to replace my broken one

I have an LG 10,200 BTU Portable Air Conditioner model # LP1017WSR that I bought years ago after a hurricane blew threw and left us without power for close to 3 weeks. The unit ran on our generator so we were glad to have it. Our windows slide horizontally. At some point in time after that, I lent the unit to someone for short-term use and they did not take care of it like I would have preferred. It came back with a tear in the hose and the coupler was never to be seen again. I put it in storage until our central A/C started acting up and we couldn't sleep comfortably. (BTW, I wanted a new A/C installed last summer but my spouse said we didn't need one. 84 degrees in the house now and he's afraid of me). I ordered this (5.9") kit for next day delivery. Read the instructions and voila! Fits perfectly and I have a nice cool bedroom till we can do a central change out. Important to note, when they say to rotate the coupler/hose counterclockwise, they mean it. Otherwise, it will not attach, rather it will spin and spin and not secure and you will say potty words. Use patience. Good luck!

Used for old Toshiba portable AC, fits good and able to fit well for a horizontal window. It’s not good for a vertical one as it’s not sturdy enough and wobbly. If you need for horizontal one perfect. That also you just cannot put at the bottom of the window as it pipe is not sitting properly. I need to put a 1 inch wood stick at the bottom so that I get some clearance for vent pipe to hold up.

I bought this because for some silly reason the portable ac i bought did not come with a window kit. This one fit perfectly, the vent is thick and sturdy but still flexible enough. It works great and is super easy to install and use

I'm a bit disappointed with the portable AC window unit. I bought it for the air exhaust fan, and it fits well. However, I want to adjust the hole to the middle of the window because the new cabinet is too close to the window. If there were an extra hole at the end, the panel could be fixed, and the hole would align in the middle. I attempted to create a hole for the seal panels myself, and it worked in the end., but I think this should be designed to allow more combinations.

One fifth the price of the big box store's and made the same

No instructions, no screws to fasten the exhaust piece to the adjustable panel that goes into window, better designed for vertical installment than horizontal(had to add to window base in order to properly install in window.

Work good

You get what you buy with this purchase. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is because it would be nice for there to be a connector on each end, rather than just "screwing" the hose into an endpoint. If you fix this somewhere, you'll have to remove the whole thing due to no quick disconnect feature.

This fits quite neatly and has made my portable air conditioner, on which the duct had very quickly torn, useable again. Better than the original.

Absolutely a life saver! Lost the same parts on my Aircon so I was glad to see the kit offered on Amazon. A bit confusing with the way the tape fits the sides to seal it but overall very happy.
