I’ve been using the BOTHSTAR keypad door knob for a bit now and overall it does what it’s supposed to do. Installation was pretty straightforward and didn’t take much time, even without much experience. The ability to add multiple user codes is really convenient, especially for a household or small office. The keypad works fine most of the time, though occasionally it feels a little less responsive than I’d like. The auto-lock feature is useful, but it can be slightly annoying if you’re going in and out frequently. Build quality is decent for the price—not super heavy-duty, but not flimsy either. It feels like a good budget-friendly option rather than a premium lock. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want something simple and affordable for keyless entry, just don’t expect top-tier performance.

Excellent!! Easy to install and just what we needed. We are using it on the door going to the garage. You just slam it and it is closed. The keypad is easy to use and always responsive. It did not turn on initially, but it was our problem. It used four batteries and after installation it looked like we needed two battles. The additional two batteries are below and not easily seen.

This is an awesome locking door knob. I have a steel garage door so drilling a deadbolt hole was not an option - this was the perfect solution. It was easy to set up and works great. I love that you can program different codes so if you need to remove access for someone - it’s easy. It’s a larger than normal diameter knob and I have small hands, so I had to get used to that part, but I adapted. I don’t have the need to use it indoors, but my friend used it in her bedroom door and it looks discreet/nice. Good quality and feels sturdy.

Worked great for 3.5 years, then failed. Overall appreciated it a lot and I'll probably buy the same to replace it.

Bought 3 less than 3 months ago.... Only 1 is currently working. Contacted the mfg for warranty support.... Got the run around and wasn't worth my time/effort. Many reviews say the same thing.... Works great then all the sudden the mechanism fails. It takes the code, lights up... But doesn't unlock anything. Huge disappointment.

Love these. Very easy to install. Directions were clear and template easy to follow. Purchased two of these for the interior owner closet doors in our beach rental. Would recommend. Especially like the back up key as a just in case.

Easy to install

I've tried a bunch of keypad door locks over the years, and this is the best one I've used so far. The first thing I noticed is that it's actually metal. A lot of the other ones I've bought look like metal, but they're really just plastic with a metallic finish. This one feels solid. I also like that there's a USB emergency power port hidden under the outside keypad. If you forget to change the batteries and they die, you can plug in a power bank to open the door instead of being locked out. Another nice touch is that the outside knob just spins a bit when the door is locked. It feels more secure, and it's one of those little details that tells me they actually thought through the design. Installation was straightforward, it's been working great, and I'd buy this one again.

After less than six months of use, the lock failed. Since we are in Canada the manifacturer says it won't uphold the warranty, and the responsability is on the seller. The seller hasn't responded to several emails. You should avoid both of them and look elsewhere. Would give ZERO stars.

I would of given 5 star but if you open the door unnaturally it wont open. Bit of a pain bit practice helps this issue. Overall its a great product.

I like it. It’s huge tho. And the controls aren’t the easiest. But it works. Just make sure to keep the code paper.
