Just as the other reviews say, you open the bag and you are immediately hit with a delicious smell of peanut butter that fills the whole room. I tasted a few, and they have great flavor. I know they aren't technically "human quality", but they taste and smell better than most of the peanuts I have bought for human consumption. I'm sure the birds are going to absolutely love these.

My birds love these peanuts. I make them into smaller pieces in a blender to stretch them. They are fresh every time!

I have bought peanut pieces for the birds from well-known big box stores locally that stock big names that start with K. I have been very disappointed in the quality of those because they tend to leave the outer skin on the peanut and my birds HATE it. THIS IS THE SOLUTION! Worth the extra money because my Blue Jays, my Nuthatches, my Finches, my Red-Bellied Woodpeckers and all of my other nut-loving birds have truly enjoyed this. SO much less waste in my feeders. As an aside, the chipmunks and squirrels also love this so if you don't want them on your feeders, I suggest adding some Cayenne Pepper to the mix. Squirrels hate it and the birds have no sense of smell, so it doesn't bother them, and it is NOT HARMFUL for birds.

These are for birds, not people. Do birds have ovens to roast their peanuts in? NO! I am hugely disappointed in these as I searched for raw shelled peanuts and instead I got these raw and roasted mixed. I won't be buying them again. Two weeks later: The doves gobble them, even the scrub jays are distracted by them from their faves, the peanuts in the shell. Even small birds like house finches can and do eat the peanut halves. I recant my earlier review and I WILL be buying these again.

Best nuts! I can’t believe that these nuts are this price. I purchased them for my nut feeder (blue birds, downy, flickers, nuthatches and such) and my birds love these nuts. I have purchased other brands before and about 1/4 of the bag are full of broken tiny pieces. The whole bag is full of nuts that will stay in the feeder and not slip out. Very good value, will be buying this brand from now on.
