Beautiful and soft lightweight blankets
Beautiful blankets...wonderful colors...great price...super soft...LOVE them! They do have a chemical smell, but that came out in the wash and they are so soft! Just wash the blankets people. Duh!

beautiful but wash before using!
got the 3 pack! these quilts are exactly what i wanted for the bottom of the bed, for my pup to lie on. decorative, lightweight and easy to wash. so colorful, soft & long enough to hang over the sides of a king. i washed them before using -as i do everything, & when i went to add softener to the machine, the water was very muddy looking. (needless to say i washed them AGAIN.) other than that, no complaints. i love the small imperfections, crazy colors/patterns & easy to dry outside on the line. now i only have to wash a small blanket rather than my king comfortor because of dog hair. love love love them & see so many more uses for them. i wish i would've found them earlier before i bought fleece ones that don't stay in place :)

Shabby chic with a lot of life left
I purchased 3 and all were beautiful. Lots of hot pink and orange! Generally a bolder print on one side and a subtler print on the other. They had a mild scent and seemed too delicate to just dunk in the machine so I aired them out on the porch and they are fine now. Minor mended tears, some untucked thread ends, but overall very nice. Would fit the top of a twin bed but I’m using them for a craft show display so they are nice tablecloth accents. Would definitely hand wash and spin dry as needed. Great textures.

Ephemeral and occasionally translucent
My bed cover is really more suitable as a couch top accent. It's only the width of my outstretched arms and probably twice as long. It has a brick red & orange floral pattern offset with a touch of gray floral on a strip of the other side. It's lightweight with an ephemeral heft of two, sometimes three layers of gauze; some portions of the inner layers don't quite reach the stitched columns of fabric making some portions translucent. I'd hoped for several coverlets rather than just one; my idea had been to give one or two to a couple of different people. I gave it a quick hand wash and didn't notice any bleeding, which was good news. I'll keep it, but regrettably not for the intended purpose, making it an expense I wouldn't have made given my desire to budget carefully and not make unnecessary purchases, however lovely with its quirky handsewn appeal as a coverlet for a couch I don't even own.

Very beautiful, very powerful
This is my second time buying a mixed five pack lot from the same seller. My initial goal was to make a patchwork “wizard coat” for a Halloween costume and use the others as bedding. As it turns out, sometimes a learning process is forty hours of sewing to discover: “hey maybe a coat should have a front.” On the other hand, I was one thousand percent successful at making a cape with sleeves, and had the best possible fabric for the experience. So I bought another batch. The quilts themselves are surprisingly light and breathable with a comfortable cotton feel, and the patterns, while a grab bag, usually yield at least one “good one” in each set, and each quilt is double-sided. So you really get about ten chances in a five piece lot to get a batch you really like on a bed, but the others are perfectly tablecloth sized or about the right size to protective cover an armchair or sofa. (And hey. Quilting supply. Can’t fail to design a front for things every time if you’ve got enough chances.) My first had two I particularly liked the patterns of. But my second set is pictured above, airing out, and has *five* fully gorgeous double-sided patterns. So gorgeous, in fact, I might do a nervous practice round on my last remaining more plain quilt from the first set. (Which is peach and orange, adorable, and has a pattern of repeating geese. If you didn’t know geese are a possibility in this, geese are a possibility. I can’t sell a higher recommendation of a piece than that it has Cute Geese Potential and makes a perfect lightweight picnic blanket.) Some of the quilts on both sets have had irregular square patches sewn in in unmatching patterns to cover tears in the fabric. Which I find utterly charming, but might bear warning for if you’re a pristine duvet kind of person. Although if you’re a pristine duvet person I kind of have to wonder what you’re doing buying what’s essentially an upcycle quilt blind box. While the sets are pre washed, both times they’ve had a faint storage odor, so I’d probably recommend washing or airing them before use instead of going straight to throwing them on the bed. And they’re noticeably hand-sewn, so I’d say treat them with the same delicacy you’d treat any other hand sewn item with gentle knotwork—probably forgo the washer unless you don’t have another option, or you might risk pulling threads or bleeding the gorgeous patterns. Eleven out of five stars

NOT A SET OF 10... alas only 1.
I purchased with a doubt about the quantity o in the pack. Some places in the listing say one, others ten. It was a calculated risk on my part. I haven't taken it out of the plastic yet but can detect the funky smell others have noted. Probably packed in a hot humid place, it happens. Color is nice but a bit muted... sunset oranges. Pattern is okay from the small bit visible. Not sure if I will keep it. Suppose it will depend on how bad the smell is.

Dull, ugly colors with little variation, and oh yeah SWASTIKAS EVERYWHERE!
I knew going into this that I was buying random patterns and colors. I went with the five-pack figuring that I might get a pattern or two I didn't like much, but I was getting these to use as draft stopping door curtains so it wouldn't be a big deal if they weren't perfect. I like that they aren't wafer thin, but aren't super heavy and thick, either, so it was worth the gamble. At the worst, I thought maybe I'd get a lot of hot pink and orange. Well, first of all the colors were extremely disappointing. Every single one was some combination of orange, brown, and baby-poo yellow. There were a few dull bits of other color on one or two so I was nearly convinced to keep them and use the, ahem, earthier-toned ones as car blankets. That was until I turned one over and on the other side of the modern-art-sorta-floral pattern the entire thing was swastikas on barfy pink and more dookie yellow. Yes, yes...before anyone gets all up in the comments to tell me, I know that the swastika is an ancient religious and cultural symbol, and I definitely do not think the intent was to slap Nazi support all over a blanket. However, it is important for one to know their audience when creating products to sell to said audience and in America, anyway, swastikas of any configuration are a hard NO WAY. Just, nope. Never. It also seems pretty ingenuine to have the product image show bright, varied colors and then what you get to look not even close to that. Boo. Anyway take your fugly blankets back. They smell like someone's basement as well, as other reviewers have mentioned. I wish I had read the other one-star reviews because I would have known about getting this very special pattern being a possibility.

5 stars and imperfect
For $20. it was worth a try even without knowing what colors one would get. Then it arrived and it was reds and oranges and just beautiful. I put it in the washer on delicate and then tossed it in the dryer and it came out fine and if possible, even softer. Lusciously soft...that pure cotton of old kind of soft. I loved it...went back on line and ordered two more which I am now waiting for. Full description - you have one primary side of bright color and one side which is still nice but very obviously not as showy as the other. Still attractive old India prints but more (in mine) muted in colors of tan, black, etc. These ARE old...I'm guessing the 60's or so but I'm not sure. They are rectangular, made of two pieces stitched together so double layered.. longer than they are wide but still a nice size for pulling up around yourself. They are crudely stitched completely by hand...in other words, very imperfect as far as that goes. The stitching of the actual blanket itself is extensive...in crude rows about an inch apart across the entire blanket. Doesn't look like thread...more like cotton string not that it matters but the point is LOTS of stitching...it won't come apart within the blanket, thats for sure...but there will be some issues with the stitching at the edges. None of the threads appear tied off...which means, they just ran out of thread and left the end dangling when they started with a new one. Its a typical quilting technique. Also, just FYI (not that it matters to me) it appears (because of the design break) that mine (the red/orange side) was originally 1/4 of a king sized spread so if you picture border printing on an India spread, you get one quarter of it. Lastly...the softness and coziness. For me, it's incomparable. I was curled up in it within seconds of it coming out of the dryer. Sheer heaven.
