Like the Energizer Bunny...
this Sony D-EJ120 Personal CD Walkman just keeps going and going. Purchased 2005 here as gift. She returned it when she graduated to an IPod. I cleaned emitter and optics, then found correct Sony wall-wart for power. Used daily as source for garage system from headphone jack through 3.5mm Male to 2-RCA Male Cable . No problem with output impedance or level-matching to stereo amp line inputs. Battery life 1: If you must use batteries, engaging Bass Boost level settings will shorten useful lifespan. That's the trade-off for more "thud". Battery life 2: Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA Batteries last longest, especially when MegaBass #1 or #2 is on. Alkalines die fast under those conditions. 19 Dec 2021 Update: Made when SONY was still serious about quality consumer-grade electronics, this is still rockin' on. Expect it will forever. If not, will find another. Cheers!

Sony Walkman: Good With Some Bumps
I got this product for Christmas so long ago. Everything works properly and as it should. I can use the headphones for everything without the inside of my ear getting sore. One con is that if you don't set it down gently on a surface or bump it in any way, it will freeze. Other than that, Sony did a good job on designing this CD player.

around $30 dollars for this cd player.. Plays great quality music and is very affordable. Satisfied.
