What else can be said about blue loctite. Use sparingly. A little can go a long way. Easy to use. Great value. Holds screws in place as it should

I've found the Loctite Blue 242 to be pretty handy when working on bicycles or fixing loose bolts. it keeps things in place without making it impossible to remove later. the medium strength seems just right for most tasks. the 6 ml size is convenient and lasts through several projects. overall, it does what I need without any fuss.

It’s blue Loctite 242. It works as advertised. Keeps fasteners from backing out due to vibration but still allows removal with normal hand tools. I’ve used it on vehicle hardware and other projects where I don’t want bolts walking loose over time. Apply it properly, let it cure, and it does its job. No drama. If you’re working on anything that sees vibration (automotive, motorcycles, equipment), this is a must-have in the toolbox.

I have used this for more than 40 years. Always works. Easy to apply (More is not better). A slim stripe along the threads will do the best and will permit you to break the seal, with some effort. Whatever threads you "locK" will not unthread due to vibration or stress but can be unlocked, if needed. Especially effective on loose or worn threads. A little bit goes a long way. I usually apply it to the threads sparingly for best effect. If you want the threads to permanently NEVER come loose, use the Red. Have always had a tube of this around for the last 40 years. No need to overtorque (tighten) and risk stripping threads or breaking a bolt.

Works great on motorcycle bolts, did the job and everything has stayed put.
