Arrived quickly and was very easy to install.

So I ordered two of these - one for a 2001 GMC dually and one for a 2001 Chevy 2500HD. For either spare - the bracket that is intended to hold the tire in place is not large enough and allows the tire rim to slip right off of it - whether it be the dually rim or the regular rim. both 16". It will not work out of the box as intended. Luckily we have some of these old golf cart rims laying around and my friend Sheryl came up with the clever idea to check and see if the tire holder bracket would fit through the center hole of the golf cart rim. And if the golf cart rim would fit up in to the recess of the dually rim. We did have to flip the dually tire over so that the recessed part of the rim was on the underneath and as you can see in the picture - the golf cart rim fits flush to the dually rim. And you can also see that the tire holder bracket fits perfectly flush to the recess of the golf cart rim. So I give Sheryl 5 stars for thinking up a brilliant fix to the problem and I give myself 4 stars for executing the fix. So the company that sells this item COULD add a round piece of sheet metal with a smaller hole in the middle (like the golf cart rim) - so this item would work as described. if they do that I will bump up my rating to 5 stars! Update: 2nd unit installed on to Chevy truck - this time I used the center section of an old tractor tire for my solution to the problem that the bracket is not long enough to hold a 16" rim (it slips off.). had to modify to mount and operate hoist, also the end that is suppose to fit through the rim to lift the tire is too small. does not lift the tire

Perfect fit, sits correctly and holds tire as it's intended too. Had to go to advance auto parts and Google what screw was needed to secure to frame so that sucked. But good price value and good product.

To small for the tire center so it falls out and when I unrolled the cable the plastic around it broke

El producto es funcional, pero no es compatible con mi Yukon 2004 al momento de la instalación no queda a nivel para que se pueda introducir la varilla para desmontar/montar la llanta de refacción.
