This brand always works right out of the box. No programming needed. It works perfectly with Samsung and any apple tv n box. I’ve gotten 3 remotes that replaced 6 remotes. I Recommend this remote.

This remote serves as an excellent and low-cost replacement for the Apple TV's remote. It's especially important to me to be able to use the remote to pull up the app switcher (which shows the "cards" of all the running apps on the ATV) and then close each app. This remote replicates that function perfectly. I did have a minor issue when I first received the remote. It was sending some correct IR signals to the ATV, but some, like the directional pad, were not working. I emailed the seller, and they quickly replied with the steps to "re-pair" the remote to the ATV. That worked and solved all of my button issues. Fingers crossed that this remote can hold up (buttons remain responsive, etc) over time.

It works well with my Apple TV 4K and better for me than Apple remote. It is easy enough to program.

It works fine with Apple TV 4K boxes and our not-smart (dumb) TVs. We have several TVs and most of the newer TVs worked just fine out of the box. Our older Sanyo TV needed the IR to be programmed manually. It is simple enough to do, you just have to work with it. - I pointed my TV remote to this remote 1" apart. - Press and HOLD the power + mute on this remote for a few seconds until the red LED turns on. - I then pressed the button I wanted to program (such as volume up) on the new remote. - Then (with the new remote ready), on the original TV remote pressed the button i wanted it to mimic (volume up). I found it best to do this in a darker-lit room and block interference of the light from the TV and i pressed the button on the original tv remote a few times in a row (I did it under the blanket honestly). - Press OK on the new remote after the red LED blinks on the new remote telling you it understood the button. - Then I repeated these steps for each of the other buttons.... I did these one at a time because I found doing them all at once was not actually programming them all at the same time for me. Keep in mind, the reason I think it works best in a darker room is because IR is just infrared light, it blinks the LED on the front of the remote in a pattern (like Morse code) that the TV can understand but the light is not visible to the human eye. So if the room is too bright or the tv screen is causing flickering light in the room it might be interfering with the programming sequence. You can see this happening if you point your phones camera at the front of the remote, you will actually see the light blinking. Hopefully this helps someone else trying to get them programmed for older IR tv's that may be having a hard time getting it to learn the buttons. Since it learns this way, it should be able to handle just about any IR device you want. :)

My Apple TV stopped working and was a real pain to look for a viable replacement. I read the reviews and decided to give this one a try. I must say I'm very impressed thus far, all the reviews said it was easy to pair and they were right. Once you insert the AAA batteries (while in line of sight of the devices) it pairs almost instantly. Not only did it pair to my apple TV but also my TV (Samsung) and Soundbar (Vizio). The controller works perfect, there is no downside other than the fact that the remote layout is slightly different than the Apple TV remote. Bottom line, this is worth the buy as a replacement to an AppleTV remote for all systems.

Works great with the Apple TV itself. But they have ruined the volume co trial of the device. Previous version when you pushed volume up or down, it went quickly. Now…it goes one level at a time. Stupid. For me, I need/want the volume to go up and down fast like it used to. Will be looking for a different t company I guess.

Perfect replacement for Apple tv. Original remote is unusable because of the poor touch programing. I hate the Apple tv remotes since they started the touch gesture thing; it's bad. This remote has every button, finally. Some of these replacements don't have the "home" button, but this has all the original buttons in analog tactile wonderment. Everything I wanted. It connected in about 2 seconds. Works on everything the original does. Even turns my TV off/on and changes sound bar volume with no extra programming. Great product. Hope it last.

My Apple TV remotes with the touch pad and the remote iPhone app drive me insane, especially with trying to fast forward on peacock. I also have an older tv that does not turn on when you turn the Apple TV on. This remote has solved all of those problems. I bought the first one a few years ago and finally came back for the second TV and my quality of life is already much improved.

Es mejor de lo que esperaba. Cuando mi control original tuvo un pequeño accidente, adquirí un genérico que nunca se enlazó con la TV. Este fue mi segundo intento, más caro que el primero sí, pero funcionó y se enlazó tan pronto le puse las pilas. Se maneja muy bien, con pulsar el encendido prende la TV y el Apple TV, igual para apagarla. No tuve que hacer nada... solito se sincronizó. Lo único que no es perfecto es el control de volumen. De uno en uno funciona bien, pero tarda un poco en reaccionar cuando lo dejas oprimido para que suba varios niveles y en mi caso, si lo dejo apretado para que lo baje varios niveles, me apaga la Bose que está conectada a la TV, así que hay que darle de uno en uno para bajar el volumen, mala suerte para mí, pero es un bug sin mucha importancia. Fuera de eso, lo recomiendo totalmente. Consejo: Nunca echen las sábanas en la lavadora sin cerciorarse de que el control de tu ATV esté entre ellas. Si no muere ahogado, la centrífuga lo remata... fue horrible.

Excelente control económico para tu apple tv. Este control SÍ tiene la opción de cerrar las aplicaciones abiertas que otros controles económicos no tienen. La verdad estoy muy contento con su funcionalidad y su precio.

Se conecto solo al ponerle pilas, pero no sirve el volumen

Me sirvió completamente para mi Apple TV a un precio muy accesible! Muy fácil de sincronizar y con el puedo subir bajar el volumen de mi tele y apagarla también. Viene con su instrucciones de como se sincroniza y estoy encantado!

El control es idéntico a la imagen, de buena calidad. Se conecto excelente al apple tv, se sincronizo con mi televisión sin problema alguno, te dice la manera de usarlo según tu marca de tv, excelente producto!!!
