California Costumes Crusader Shield and Sword

Perfect sword and shield for my 11yo. The sword fits perfectly in the shield which make for fun play.

This was a big hit along with son’s knight costume (also from amazon) The shield and sword are really high quality and just a great prop!!! Highly recommend and stay amazing friends!

My daughter (8) wanted to be a knight to a friend's medieval party. So, we grabbed a costume from our favorite shopping store (it really is Amazon), and this sword shield. I have to say I was entirely surprised by what a great accessory this was! Both sword and shield are sturdy, hard-shelled plastic. This means they feel really solid as opposed to the more flimsy accessories that some of the other kids at the party had. The design actually looks really cool, and the shield handles (which are cloth, but sturdy) can be used to sling whole thing onto your back (truly knight-style!). Plus, being able to sheath the sword into the shield itself made for a handy carrying case and was itself a very cool idea. I can't say enough good things about it. Probably this would be the right size for anywhere between a 5 year old to maybe a smaller 11yo; after that it might not be quite large enough. Very pleasantly surprised!!

This item looks great and the cost is wonderful. I like it very much because it is made out of plastic unlike other shields that are made of foam and don’t last too long I also like the fact that the sword is attached, so you don’t have to go looking around for the sword. Quick delivery as well.

My 6 year old loved getting this sword to go with his dragon slayer/knight costume. It was a little too unwieldy to carry for the full Halloween outing (mom had to help out), but he does play with it continuously at home and it is sturdy and won't break easily.

This is exactly as pictured. My son is super excited. It goes well with his Knight costume. It's light weight and easy to use. It's made of a strong plastic but still soft enough to not hurt any one. The size is a little bit smaller than expected but still very well for what he's using it for.

This has to be the best gift my son received for Christmas ~ and one of the cheapest! Santa was smart enough to buy it just days before Christmas to go with the Zelda costume and it arrived with plenty of time. I was worried it was going to be too big for a child, but the size is perfect. The plastic is sturdy and the silver and black paint actually looks pretty good. I was impressed and relieved. The only down side, the straps underneath aren't finished on the ends and so they are fraying a bit. I will need to deal with that. Even in consideration of the straps, I think this still deserves 5 starts. My boy is happy and so therefore I am too!
