Not sure why it was labeled 12oz. Maybe I don't understand how they are supposed to be weighed. I used my cooking scale and zero'd it first. Fight Corner has more of a "pleather" material, but closer to the plastic side. UFC brand may not be as padded but they feel/appear to be better quality. The UFC pleather feels closer to real leather. Stitching on both look good. Wrist support on fight corner feels brand feels better due to the thicker padding.

I know that you saw “comprehensive” in the title and thought that was off but hear me out… Man I was blown away by these gloves, and the effort, and the deliberate design. First off wrist support is second to none. I can really sit on a punch and nit worry about injury to my wirsts which has happened in the past… second the design. These gloves are designed to prevent eye poking but having a rigid design at the end forcing your fingers to bend. Despite the design, it still doesn’t inhibit your ability to grapple. Third, to tie into the design of the fingers, the padding extends to fully cover your fingers passed the middle knuckles. I have thrown nit so crips punches in other gloves and straight up high bare knuckle. It hurts both you and your partner. These gloves have a lot of great engineering and I will only wear these gloves from now on!

They feel just like they look. Soft and sturdy in the right spots. Good quality gloves with great wrist support. Stiff out of the package but I’m sure they break in nicely. Gloves came in an sage green color like the picture. I noticed the description says they’re black.

The gloves themselves are great. I love the extra cushion makes MMA sparring a lot safer. The overall fit of the glove is very comfortable and the straps are great. I maintain my gloves very well because I am on a budget so I need them to last. I make sure that I sanitize them and dry them out every day after training. I will say I use them pretty heavily because I train every day but I was disappointed to see the stitching coming apart within a month and after 4-5 months starting to really show the wear and tear.

These gloves are quality made and you can feel it with every punch. I use these open handed gloves (versus a closed glove) because they allow more flexibility to pick up a barbell without having to take the gloves off. . . while allowing a similar feel (punching) as a closed glove. These are great!

I use these exclusively hitting a heavy bag and uppercut bag. I use standard hand wraps with them and they work excellent. Really is nothing negative to say.

Gloves were used one time and are already ripping. Very disappointed.
