Stable and versatile for personal use
I purchased the 13' ladder. I bought it only for personal use around the house/outside, and I have owned it for a couple of weeks. As an average/slightly short woman, the ladder is slightly heavier than I'd like but not unwieldy and actually far lighter than it looks. It is very easy to adjust between all the lengths/shapes. It also comes with a small instruction booklet detailing all of the positions and how to achieve them. It is good on stairs and very stable. Once locked into a position it is truly 'locked' and does not wobble or slide on the ground. My only complaint is that I wish the rungs/steps were slightly wider. When I use the 90degree angle to paint near the ceiling (so much better than trying to twist or reach on a standard ladder) I have to get creative in where to put the paint bucket. But I'll take the lighter weight as a good compromise. Overall, I think this is a very nice quality ladder. It is expensive, but as homeowner I am always in need of a ladder at short notice. Between the versatility and material quality, I suspect it will pay for itself over many years of use. Besides, it's hard to put a price on piece-of-mind when many of the cheaper ladders out there are so unsteady. So far it has been used to paint, change ceiling lights and fans, clean gutters, and trim trees. *For clarification, the ladder length is measured fully extended; it is not the height while in "A" frame (which is just over 6'.) Also, the 13' version does not have wheels as described in the video. Those are only on the larger ladders. Edit 6/30/15: I just received an email from Amazon's customer service. There is a replacement wheel accessory kit for Little Giant ladders. Because the description page was misleading, I was issued a credit to order the kit. I did not contact customer service about this, as I feel that it is small enough not to need wheels. Yet another reason I love Amazon!

Fantastic Ladder!
Just wanted to say we are very pleased with the 26' Little Giant. Hubby & I have been considering purchasing one for years and with the heavy rain and gutters that needed cleaning we decided to give it a try when a little plant decided it had found a good home. : ) The ladder's learning curve was about 10 minutes - the instructions are very easy to follow...even for a girly girl and the rungs have a great secure-sounding clank when they're properly locked into place. 5 Stars - the top priority for a ladder in my view is to feel secure when using it & I didn't have any worries or fear. It's solid. The only "down" sides are that singularly the rungs are a little thin (I have size 7 feet). When doubled they're fine. Given the construction it totally makes sense why they're thin and I wouldn't change a thing - just be prepared for it. As others have mentioned, the ladder is quite heavy - 50lbs doesn't sound too bad until you consider it's a large object but just fold it up and drag it along via the wheels and relocating it is a breeze. Overall, we're very please with the investment and in an afternoon addressed a number of home maintenance tasks that we'd put on hold for a quite a while. Thanks to the company for creating something so ideal for the common homeowner. :)

Versatile ladder with great customer service!
I've used my 26' ladder in several configurations and love it. It's extremely sturdy and durable in any configuration, and can be safely handled by one person (although for some jobs, 2 is a good idea). It's been great to have for indoor and outdoor work around the house. I've had to contact Little Giant customer service for an issue and their response was polite, quick, and they immediately worked to resolve my ladder's issue under warranty. It didn't cost me a thing. My particular ladder had a defect in one of the two latching mechanisms, which meant that when the ladder was extended one of the latches would give way even with minimal weight on it. The second latching mechanism would keep the extension in place enough that I didn't fall, but the ladder didn't feel secure to stand on. I contacted customer service, which is available online and by phone, and submitted a claim. They asked for my contact information and then sent me a message asking for any details about the issue. They had the option to email or text pictures/video of the problem, which made explaining the problem really simple. I wish all companies had such modern ways to make warranty claims! I was able to communicate directly with the engineer assigned to my case and, after they reviewed my video of the problem, they approved a new ladder extension to be sent out to me at their own expense. I really couldn't be happier with their customer service or their product.

Very well made and easy to load in the average SUV
I wanted something that I could load into the back of the SUV to take with me to the lake. When my sailboat is on the hard for the winter the toe rails are well over eight feet above the ground. Even the swim ladder is unreachable without a step ladder when it is in it's stowed position up against the stern. The lowest rung is still four feet off the ground when deployed. Getting on and off the boat can be a challenge, not to mention being able to reach the entire hull for cleaning and waxing. I borrowed a six foot step ladder from someone else in the marina and found it to be just a little too short for working on the hull... and it wouldn't fit in my SUV anyhow. I just unboxed my Little Giant Velocity M13 adjustable ladder. I didn't bother with reading the included instructions before messing around with it. It is heavier than I expected it to be but it is still very manageable. It has about the same weight as my 16' extension ladder, which won't fit in the SUV either. I was very pleasantly surprised at how the hinge latching mechanisms work. Just push them in, they are spring loaded and lock in place, open the hinge and they lock automatically in A frame mode. Push them again, they lock in their released position, and you just continue unfolding the hinge until they automatically lock in the extension ladder configuration. The locking mechanisms for extending the legs work the same way, easy and secure. Very easy, very secure. I went up and down both sides of this ladder while it was in it's step ladder configuration as well as up and down it when it was fully extended as an extension ladder. Solid enough for me, I'm over 200lbs, and I'm kind of fussy... I used to paint houses. You need to be able to trust your ladder. This is an awesome little ladder.

The ladder is great in A-frame mode
I've had this ladder for approx 1 mo. and used it mainly in A-frame mode. Pros: The ladder is great in A-frame mode. Adjustments in this mode are simple and quick with the rock locks. In this mode it's extremely stable and feels very solid and safe. The quality of the construction seems better than that of the other multi-function ladders i looked at. It has welded rather than riveted rungs and the welds (under the red plastic covers at each end of the rungs) seem to be of high quality. It is especially good at getting close to walls or trees in 90 degree mode. I have used it on stairs and found it to be very easy to work with on them. Cons: Its weight could be difficult to manage, especially for a smaller person. I have used it in extension mode only once and found it to be somewhat difficult to raise into position, due to its weight and length, even though I am fairly tall. If working in limited space, a standard extension ladder would be a better choice. Packaging: The packaging was a simple corrugated box and was inadequate for shipping an item of this weight and size. The hand holds (simplly holes in the box) were torn and the box was crushed and torn in several places when delivered. Fortunately the ladder survived with only minor scratches. Other: The description states that the hinge locks have 2 pins, but in fact they have 4 as shown in the photos. I would definitely recommend it for A-frame applications. I subtracted 1 star due to the difficulty of use in extension mode.

The last ladder I will ever have to buy
I've had and used this ladder for six months now, and I can't say enough good things about it. I've had other multi-stage ladders before but nothing compares to the convenience, sturdiness, and usability of this ladder. The way they designed the release buttons for all the adjustments is just brilliant. So easy for one person to use. The levers that lock and release the extensions have two positions... Push it all the way and the extension slides up and down with ease. With a touch you can release it to the mid-position that allows them to lock into place at the next position it arrives at. Then the release for the hinge is also simple to use. Just give it a good hit with the palm of your hand and it is unlocked. By the way the shape of this button is big and round so you don't feel a thing when you pop it to unlock it. I also feel very safe on this ladder even when it is fully extended to 26 feet! I will say that at full extension I need a second person to help me set it because it is a bit top heavy by design, but I had no problem doing it myself at shorter lengths. I LOVE THIS LADDER! And I don't expect I will ever need another ladder in my life.

Very happy
Earlier this year purchased a super ladder that has a scaffold option and multiple options use. I didn't know about this company yet. Saw a commercial and always kept the hope I’d need another size so I could consider Little Giant. That moment arrived I needed a ladder for the porch roof to get onto the roof to work on the dormer. The house is a square two-floor design from 1900 with a pyramid roof and dormer facing front. I've also used it for painting the lower floor of the house outside quickly since it's so easy to move. I especially like that I can stand on the top when it's folded about five feet tall in half. The paint can holder with lots of little holders made painting a joy because everything I needed was there to grab while on the ladder. I bought the two-gallon paint holder for the roller, too, but haven't used it yet. I also bought the safety bracket that helps the ladder be sturdy when fully extended. Makes this ladder very versatile for all renovation projects under the first floor. The other ladder can cover the top floor and more labor-intensive ceiling projects for installing tin, peel, and stick, working on lighting, etc. The sale price was epic. Encouraged me to take the plunge. This is a high quality ladder from my experience of decades on different style ladders for projects. Besides the other which was a fantastic price bar none for what I got. This is my favorite. Overall for versatility and quality. Plus, attachment options have made my life easier and less stressful while working. I'm so happy I bought this ladder ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💯

WAY better than the stepladders of my youth
I had no idea that there was room to innovate in basic stepladder technology, but here we are. This ladder is RIDICULOUSLY versatile. It can be a standard indoor stepladder, it can be a 13-foot extension ladder, it can be folded down for storage, it can be two separate smaller ladders, it can be two little mini stepladders, it really is the Transformer of stepladders. AND, and, all the limitations of yesteryear's lame ladders are gone. You can climb on both sides of the ladder. You can use the top rung if you want (just make sure to keep your balance!). You can put a board across it as a sort of mini scaffold if you like (just make sure not to tip it over!). If you've got one ladder in your house, it should probably be this ladder. You can do everything from cleaning your gutters (assuming a one story house, anyway) to going into your attic hatch to changing a light bulb. And it's not much heavier than an old-style stepladder. Just be careful not to catch your fingers in the rotation joint lock, and do follow all the instructions to make sure it's locked securely when you're using it. It's super easy once you have the hang of it, but worth watching the videos (there's a QR code right on the ladder to scan).
