Finally, I can see after dark.
These are definitely brighter than the incandescent type. I recently had to do some serious maintenance on my riding mower. I had to replace the wire from the voltage regulator to the battery because of a decayed charging wire that was causing multiple performance issues. So, I decided to decrease the load on the charging circuit by replacing the original incandescent bulbs with these LED bulbs. What a HUGE difference these LED bulbs made. Not only does the charging system perform better, but I can also actually see as dusk sets in. These were a direct fit. The light is whiter and brighter than normal bulbs. I haven't experienced any hyper flash or flickering either. I can't speak to the lifespan since I only recently installed them. As for appearance, they provide white light and the LEDs are visible without encapsulation.

So far, I'm very pleased with these.
So far, I'm very pleased with these. They're bright, and hardly any heat comes off them at all. I haven't had them a very long time, and I'm testing one by leaving it on a lot, but so far, so good.
