Fine Mesh Strainer with Handle Tea Sifter Stainless Steel Sieve

I needed another small strainer because the one I purchased about eight months ago broke. There are poorly made items and those made with care and I chose the cheap one and paid the cost. It had two pieces going into the vessel and it soon broke at that point and became unusable. So, I had in mind to get a strong one with one stainless steel handle well attached to the strainer and I would, if necessary, pay a bit more for it. I'm very tired of the inflated prices of everything and have to stay within my budget. But I needed this small strainer. I like it a lot. It is the perfect size for my coffee grounds and other simple uses. It cleans very easily. It has many uses. Best of all is that it is strong and durable and I think it will last as long as I need it. If you want a small strainer that's not likely to break and that is made very well, I recommend this to you.

Excellent build quality well constructed with a high quality fine mesh basket. The handle has a very nice feel from the tubular Stainless steel design. This is not one of those cheaply made, tack welded type strainers that have handles that snap off with light to moderate use that often fail at the connection where the handle is tack welded to the basket rim. No worries, this one should last you for many years. Highly recommend!

I finally got this versatile and appropriate size for my kitchen. It’s dishwasher safe, sturdy, and the finest mesh for the kitchen. It is indeed a great value for the money. I Recommend it.

Nice to have

I have became an avid herbal tea drinker and have a few different strainers but THIS ONE is by far, my favorite! It is definitely fine mesh and it is the perfect size to put on top of a glass. It also looks a lot nicer than the other ones that I have. There were a few pesky herbs that happened to pass through into the cup but nothing to fuss about. A ton passes through the others. The herbs rinse right out of it with no problem but I rinse it immediately. I don't wait until they dry in it. I would definitely buy this again and I took a short video for reference.

Got as a small filter to catch my coffee grounds from my French press. Good size and not too big for small spaces. Has a small loop on the end for hanging. Very easy to clean and good quality.

It's all about poached eggs for me when it comes to breakfast, took a long time to suss out what the most vital component of the perfect poached egg is and it comes down to two things - first, the egg; younger the better as it has firmer white so if you can buy from a local farm from foraging hens you're golden: two, the fine mesh sieve; this is what gets rid of the wisps, there is no other way to get a perfect poached egg than to use a fine mesh sieve. Crack egg into sieve resting on a large cereal bowl. Let the wisps drain for 60 seconds. Lightly bounce the sieve on the bowl a couple times, let it drain for 15 more seconds. Tilt egg into a clean ramekin/small bowl and repeat for as many eggs as you need. Boiling water, turn to simmer/low, as soon as water stops rolling, place your eggs in. Place lid on. Timer set to 3:00. Remove using a slotted spoon and place on paper towel to dry. No need for vinegar, salt, stirring the water or any of that other nonsense, perfect poached eggs every time. This sieve is the perfect size, I've tried 3" and they're too small for LG or XL eggs to properly drain the wisps. This sieve fits perfectly on top of a cereal bowl, it's easy to clean and it's the right fine-ness to allow the wisps to drain while the egg remains perfectly intact.
