I’ve been using the BRÜUN SD Control Salmon DNA Ampoule for a few weeks now during my microneedling sessions, and I’m honestly impressed! The texture is silky and absorbs quickly without any sticky residue. It gives my skin an instant hydrated glow and seems to calm redness much faster than other serums I’ve tried. After a few uses, my overall skin tone looks brighter and more even, and my fine lines look softer. I also love that it works beautifully with or without a derma pen — I sometimes apply it on non-needling days for an extra boost of radiance. It feels very high-end, like something you’d get from a professional Korean spa. The packaging is clean and elegant, and a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts quite a while. Highly recommend for anyone doing microneedling at home or looking for a serum that genuinely improves texture and glow!

Great for nano needling. Left my skin hydrated. It’s a little sticky so I do rinse it after as it was not micro needled it says you can do that and it was sealed and sterile I just didn’t as I’m new to micro needling. It’s great value for the money and I would think you can get about 10 treatments out of this. It’s thick and provides good glide. My skin absorbed a ton of it. I will probably order a few more of the other ampoules because this one was much better than expected.

I am 45 years old and new to microneedling and the salmon is the first slip I used. I found it to be incredibly hydrating and i had great glow for a solid 48 hours. I have also used the serum for nanoneedling and got excellent results with that, as well. Great product… excited to try the others in this line.

My skin looks so much better now, is firmer, glowing and it has fade my dark spots.

I think the product itself is high quality. I live the needle and bottle packaging. I will try other products in this line but will need to pass on this one due to the gold flakes. I used this as a slip for microneedling and it caused breakouts. I think it’s because the gold flakes. The next time I used hyaluronic acid as a slip and this as aftercare. As it dried, the gold flakes in my face were itchy.

A lovely addition to my skincare routine, my skin feels beautifully hydrated I’ve really enjoyed using this ampoule. I’m always interested in Korean skincare and bought this because I wanted to try a Salmon DNA serum without committing to some of the much more expensive products in this category. The texture was one of the things I liked most. It feels lovely going onto the skin and leaves my face feeling hydrated, smooth and cared for. I found it easy to incorporate into my existing skincare routine and it layered nicely with the other products I use. After using it consistently, my skin felt softer and looked fresh and well hydrated. I can’t say that one serum is responsible for every change in my skin – I use a number of skincare products – but I can say that I genuinely enjoyed using this and liked how my skin looked and felt while it was part of my routine. The ampoule-style packaging also makes it feel a little more special than an everyday serum. I’d buy this again. For me, the biggest positives were the hydration, texture and how pleasant it was to use consistently.
