Well worth the buy! Solid!
Easily planted hundreds of small bulbs! I live in Oklahoma where our soil is "red dirt" and it's hard as a rock. This auger bit worked like a charm! My husband wasn't looking forward to planting 400 tulips and daffodils. This made quick work of it and it stood up fine to the rock hard dirt without bending or breaking.

Good auger, tough
Works great. I am using this for trapping. I use it to make holes for bait. A good deep hole will keep a fox or coyote busy for a few mins trying to get at the bait. My secondary use is to break up the salt bridges in my water softener. Works well for that too.

A MUST HAVE FOR GARDENING PLANTING
This product is fantastic for planting bulbs or even gardening. It is durabile and the amount of time saved vs shovel is unspeakable, it is as simple of wiping it off to clean and if you want an easier way to use then stick in a bucket of water and dill away. It basically would fit in any drill and you can make depth with a piece of tape on the shaft if you want to plant more shallow, I used electrical tape and it help up well. Good value for the money. It is very easy to install and use as its very basic. The only downfall or negative I can think of is that if there is a weed barrier paper it gets caught up, bundled up, etc. But not necessarily a specific problem with this product itself but using a drill but like this wont be worth it.

Saw the Termite bait installer using a vintage Auger. Work smarter not harder.
I have rock hard soil. So hard that it bends metal camping stakes, shattering plastic ones. Saw the termite guy installing the tube baits. He had a similar one, but couldn't remember where it was purchased. This Auger cuts right thru the soil with my small drill with a basic motor. I can hardly cut into the ground with several different garden shovel(s). This Auger saved me sweat and time replanting the front flower bed. A couple of times it grabs and goes in deep, and has to reverse the drill to get it out. I made sure no underground wires or pipes were near. Obviously, use at your own risk. Shorter than depicted but works well!

Well made easy to use
Very sturdy! Saved a lot of time fertilizing my trees. Small roots weren’t a problem nice deep hole and loosens the soil too. The length saves your back. Fit into battery drill just fine

Efficient Solution for Garden and Post Hole Projects
I rely on these drill augers for both digging post holes and planting various garden trees and shrubs. For anyone managing back or knee concerns, this tool is an absolute game-changer, making labor-intensive digging significantly more manageable. The process is simple: attach the auger to a standard drill and let the tool do the heavy lifting. I have found that taking small amounts of soil at a time works best; once loosened, I use a post hole digger to clear out the debris. I am so satisfied with the performance and ease of use that I now own several of these. It is a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to simplify their outdoor projects.

Great little auger bit for soil adjustment around trees
I purchased this auger to adjust the soil pH and nutrients around a maple tree. Although it would have been better if the bit was a inch or two longer, it got the job done. Using a corded Milwaukee drill with a keyed chuck, I was able to easily bore a series of 24 holes, each 2" diameter using the full length of the bit. The bit held up to drilling into wet heavy clay soil with no bending or deformation. The bit allowed me to easily add sulfur and nutrients at depth around the drip line of the tree. Rinsed off the dirt and looks like new. Good purchase for the price. Received quickly. A+

La broca en tierra blanda se va rápido.. se atasca con cualquier cosa, ocupas taladro potente ya que son pesadas... pésima atención al cliente del vendedor

Excellent tool for many garden tasks.
Excellent tool for gardening tasks, I purchased it after seeing a YouTube video using it to install tree and shrub fertilizer spikes. It works well provided you use slow speed on the drill and use an up and down motion to clear the hole while boring. I also “drilled” out dandelions with some success and it would also be useful for installing stakes, seedlings, bulbs etc. The 1.6” hole is easily enlarged by rotating the drill creating a conical hole. However, the hex end of the drill shaft is slightly too large to fit quick release drill attachments, I filed mine down and ground a recess to hold it firmly in place as shown in the photo.
