CalPure California Extra Virgin Avocado Oil - First Cold-Pressed, Unrefined, Made in California, 8.5 Fl oz, Pack of 2

I've Been using avocado oil as my moisturizer for my face and body for 2 years now but this is the first time having an oil of this greatness.Before I had a unrefined/refined oil mix that I thought was pretty good but not like this! This oil taste,smells and looks like it came straight from an avocado like an hour ago. It's a beautiful green but doesn't turn my skin green.It sinks into my skin quickly without leaving it oily.This oil was the best price I found for extra virgin unrefined avocado oil and after I finish up this bottle in several months I'll get another ,though that may be awhile since I'm only using it for my face and tips of my hair cause I can't afford to put it all over my body. I'll just use my naturally refined avocado oil for that. Extra virgin unrefined avocado oil has all the nutrients left unlike others so it's the best for skin like the face that shows aging. Overall I recommend this oil for beauty and I expect for food it'd be great as well.

I have completely changed all of our oil use to either Coconut or Avacado. I have purchased several brands of Avacado oil and yes this one is green and quite strong to taste right out of the bottle. I like it! I feel like it is less processed with the green color as opposed to clear oil which makes me feel good about using it. My kids who don't like when I cook with virgin coconut oil don't notice or complain about this Avacado oil. I even pour it over several of our foods once i am done cooking them just for the health benefits and the kids don't seem to notice the flavor. I use it to make homemade salad dressings and I am in love with it! I have only found one other brand that is green and it also tastes good and is comparable in price. I still buy the clear brand for baking because it's less expensive and has less taste, but we will absolutely continue buying CalPure for most of our oil needs.

Love it! As far as I can find in research, only 3 oils don't degrade when heated to high temps: olive oil,, coconut oil and avacado oil. I use this in the place of olive oil.I don't care for the aftertaste of olive oil but this hardly has a taste. I also use this or coconut oil but leaves a sweet taste. So it's good in some recipes, but not in others. Great for making homemade popcorn. If you're looking for an oil that doesn't degrade in high heat and doesn't add an aftertaste, and doesn't greatly alter food taste. This will fit the bill nicely. I will definitely buy it again

I purchased this closer to the beginning of the year and have been using it since. I love it and I'm about to order more. Unfortunately, with any good quality oil, the price point is going to be more expensive. It is well worth it in my opinion. I've started following a paleo diet and avocado oil is used in many recipes. I've also used it on salads and made a delicious mayonnaise with it. The added bonus is that avocado oil has a high smoke point. I think I may try some as part of my skincare routine. Overall, I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone looking to purchase avocado oil!

This oil is the most beautiful emerald green and it has a buttery flavor. I ordered this on Saturday July30 and it arrived at my home by USPS on July 31!!!! I have never had such delivery and so fast. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a top grade avocado oil. It's fabulous for frying, browning and salad dressings. I have used avocado oil previously but paid double for the previous purchase and I got these two bottles same size for half that and it arrived next day after purchase! CalPure Foods, Inc. is great.

The oil I received for the recent lightning deal had a very strong smell to it and the oil did not taste overly good. I have read other reviews and it seems like it is not supposed to have a very strong odor to it. Lot number for the bottles I received is 24016 and the expiration date is 10/03/19. I'm willing to change my review if this is how the oil is intended to be, but I feel like this company might have an issue with quality control.

I started looking for Avocado oil based on the reports of counterfeit Olive oil, and also for the fact of all the benefits from Avocado oil. Upon researching different makers, I resorted to California growers for this particular oil. It was a great price and an excellent oil. I made homemade Mayo with it and cooked a variety of foods with it. I was pleased with the overall taste and flavor of this Avocado oil and have continued to buy this brand for the past several months.

I was quite excited to try this oil as we LOVE avocados but am often stuck with rotten ones. This seemed like a reasonable solution. However, this oil tastes like rotten avocados; the brown yukky parts and smelled the same. Miserably disappointed especially considering the price and California home of this oil. I definitely expected MUCH better. Originally I gave this product 1 star for yukky rotten avocado taste and smell. The seller contacted me immediately and offered a replacement product. It arrived promptly and was SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER. The oil in THIS bottle was buttery soft and mellow. I have revised my review based on a wonderful seller who stands behind their products but only 4 stars pending my next bottle.
