This thing worked like a gem. I got a ventless washer dryer all in one for a condo that had water lines but no vent to exterior. So anyway the drain line was originally a hole from the laundry “closet” where the water heater is and the washer lines into the opposing wall bathroom shower. So the whole was filled with grout or whatever on the tile side and a patch on drywall side. My washer line is 1”. The outlet side of this extender is 1” a perfect match with the included white sleeve coupler. So I drilled a 11/8” hole through the grout hole in tile wall thinking I was going to insert the drain hose into the step down connection and out into the shower with the 1” side. But when I drilled the hole all the plaster or grout whatever crumbled because the actual hole was about 2.5” around. So I drilled a 1 1/4” hole and slid the extender in backwards until the step down seated into the hole and stuck out of the tile like an inch and created by itself a relatively sealed nice tight drain spout that held firm right away like snug. Now there was void around the spout exit and the tile due to the hole size so I just siliconed it in and it is permanent. Then I just connected the two 1” drain lines together with the included yellow y clamps and done. Also siliconed the drywall side. This hose for me worked way better than I had anticipated. Didn’t have to cut or anything and didn’t use the u clamp wall bracket it came with. O btw it’s not like the greatest plastic but it’s fine. Little thin but for the cost and outcome wow. Thx!

This is a good drain hose and it worked for what I needed. It fit the connection, but I had some trouble getting it tight enough on my washing machine. When I tried to secure it, the hose would sometimes slide instead of staying firmly in place. My biggest issue was with the clamp. The small yellow tightening piece broke pretty easily while I was trying to secure it, so I wish that part was made a little stronger. Other than that, the hose itself has been good and I’m happy with it. I’d give it 4 stars because it does the job, but the connection and clamp could definitely be improved.

This hose is made of some of the cheapest and flimsiest material I have ever seen. I tried to attach it directly to the back of my washer with one of the included hose clamps, but a VERY slight pull on the hose to feed it over toward where I needed it to drain was enough to completely tear the rubber fitting from behind the hose clamp. I tried then to do it the other way and use it to extend my old hose, but the white plastic hose joint provided was leaking quite badly at the connection between the two hoses. I applied some plumber's silicone grease to the fitting and kept gradually tightening the clamps on either side, but it continued to leak. Finally, I tightened it a bit too far and the hose clamp simply tore through the cheap rubber once again and left the entire hose completely ruined at both ends. I would strongly recommend avoiding this kit if you can. After using it, I cannot imagine how it could possibly work reliably over a long period of time.

So-so quality. Just one year and six months, it was broken. I have to use glue to connect it.

Misleading information about the product. I received the hose only, no clamp, no U-bent holder. Also, it doesn't fit standard 1/2 " pipe. Disappointed.

I just got this in the mail and it's missing pieces? The Description says 4 cramps, and adapter connector etc.. and it came with the hose and ONE clamp. That's it, where's the rest?? I will be returning for a refund.
