I recently purchased this Crucial 8GB DDR4 RAM to upgrade my laptop, and I'm incredibly impressed with the results. RAM is one of those components that if you don't notice it, it's doing a good job. Crucial tends to stand out in this area by not standing out. I bought a cheap refurb mini PC a while back in the price range that you know will result in some kind of problem sooner or later. The PC doesn't work too hard as its only purpose is to display a slideshow on multiple monitors, but after about a year of being always-on, the expected problems arose and this memory kit brought it back to life.

The memory module came quickly and carefully wrapped. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 and had no issue installing the memory. It was not the same clock speed as the one it replaced (it is slower, 2400hz), but I don't think it makes much difference. It is more about increasing memory size, which helps load things into the memory, which helps with speed. Note that memory replaces your removable memory module only. There is a permanent 4GB attached to the motherboard (soldered?). I replaced the other 4GB with this new 8GB memory module, so I now have 12GB of total memory. 4 + 8 = 12

This 8 GB RAM Works for Dell 5379 bought in Singapore. I recommend this product and vendor. Check "slots" i.e the place to fix the RAM in your laptop by using "Windows > Task Manager > Performance > Memory" to ensure you have 1 slot free.
