Got these for my dorm room and was a little suspicious at first since they were fairly cheap. I put painter’s tape underneath them so they wouldn’t rip the paint off my walls. The adhesive stuck really well and they were easy to attach. They give you a few different connector options also. When I first tried them out the light on the adapter dimmed and the outlet began making a strange noise. The lights didn’t turn on so I unplugged them. I eventually figured out that instead of keeping both of the strips attached to the two different ports on the adapter thay you need to keep only one of the strips plugged into the port and take the second strip and attach it to the end of the first strip. This solved all my problems and they didn’t even dim at the end of the strip! The remote works better than any other LED light strips I’ve seen. Overall a great product and I would reccomend.

I had previous LED lights from a different company that was half the length of these ones but were 3x the price. The remote was not very good, the app was hard to connect and they broke within a couple of months. Because of my previous LED lights I was nervous about getting new ones but these were very easy to install and the app took less than a minute to install and connect. The only thing I have an issue with is the physical remote that I got, it may just be the battery but the lights don't really respond to them but there really is no need for it since it has such a good app. All of the features work really well. I got the 50 ft. ones and they covered my entire room. I really recommend these!

The lights were bright and changing the colors with the remote was cool but didn't always work. Sometimes would need to unplug from the wall and plug in because lights would not work.

I bought this for my daughter's room and everything was great and works great except the app when it comes to only SOME devices. When I went to connect the light strip to the app on my Google Pixel 6 pro, well it wouldn't connect. It wouldn't find it in any way. My husband tried but he also has the same phone so that wasn't helpful. Just out of desperation I ran and grabbed my iPad and downloaded the app on there. I made an account on there and right away it asked me if I would allow it to connect to my Bluetooth. That's the one thing it never asked on the pixel phones. So it connect wonderfully to my iPad (mini 5th generation). My daughter has a Moto G Power (2021 version) which is Google and Android based like my pixel phone BUT when I installed the app on her phone, as soon as I logged in it asked if I wanted to allow the app to use the Bluetooth. So it works on her moto g power. The Pixel phones are on android 13 and her phone is on android 11 (that's the latest version for both devices) most Android phones will have Android 12 but for whatever reason, Motorola isn't planning on pushing that one out. So in short, I believe if the app won't connect to the light strip and you have android 13 on your device, you're screwed... At least until they make it compatible with Android 13. Most Android phones are using 11 and 12 and you might be fine. Also, the iOS version of the app for iPhone and iPad seems to work just fine. I'm not going to reduce stars because of the apps inability to work across all androids because I know how much work goes into making apps work across all android devices, it's a pain compared to iOS. Plus since it works on my daughter's phone and it was for her room, it gets 5 stars anyway. There's always the remote it comes with you can use instead.

I am not sure about how long it lasts since I received mine last night, so I’ll update when it runs out of juice. Update: It's been almost 2 years still going strong! Pros -Easy set up! No hassle -Unlike other reviews have said, they stuck great to my wall! My wall is relatively smooth, but it does have somewhat of a paint texture. (I just received them last night and they stayed all night I will update if I have sticking issues later on) -Bright and vibrant! You can adjust the brightness on the app as well. I left them on all night and turned them off in the day and color and brightness was fine. -The remote works at least as of writing this. Cons -The yellow color on the remote actually looks more green, but I just use the app -Although in the picture it looks like a pastel yellow, it’s actually a vibrant orange color. You can’t actually lighten the colors. You only have the standard neon colors.

These lights work great. The adhesive is still holding after months of daily use(I cleaned the wall before mounting them). Hopefully it will not remove paint when removing but even if it does, I’d rather these hold themselves up(at the expense of some paint) than constantly be falling down. When lights are dimmed/lower they tend to flicker. Not on and off but a noticeable wave of dim/bright in rapid succession. Not a deal breaker but just an observation (Could be due to the extension power supply cable I’ve used in this application). I purchased a separate 12v power supply extension cable as the power lead from the transformer/controller provided is a meager 3 feet at best(seems typical of most led strips) and I do not like the appearance of led’s halfway up one wall before they reach the ceiling and continue around the perimeter. So, if you are doing a ceiling application, buy an extension power supply cord for a cleaner install would be my suggestion.

⚠ PARTS OF THE STRIP BROKE ⚠ these lights are great, brightness is good, and they work just like led lights should. the first time i bought these lights was about 1-2 years ago, and i had them up for almost a year before i took them down to repaint my room. i never had the issue i'm about to explain until now. after i redid my room and i put them up in march, once june to early august had rolled around, a small strip of lights had turned red. the color i usually always have my lights on is purple, so i'm assuming the blue burnt out so it turned red, but for reference i had to switch the color to white to see the difference. and, you can clearly tell that the circled strips are yellow, not white. it's january when i'm writing this review, so it hasn't even been 11 months since i've put them up yet. i've noticed that when the strips are going to turn red they slowly start turning hot pink (when the color is on purple). anyways, it's not a major issue but it kinda bugs me so i'll probably take these down eventually and buy in better ones. also the adhesive reeks of a chemical smell the first couple of days after you put them up. it messed with my asthma and honestly made me a little light headed. also, my sister has the same lights in her room and through the app our lights will occasionally get connected to each others through bluetooth so that's annoying, and finally her lights somehow connected to her tv remote, so when ever she clicks buttons on her tv remote her led light colors change, so that's even more annoying. anyways, these lights aren't horrible i would just invest in higher quality ones.

Dont bother with this item, supplied with what i thought was a USA plug. Contacted seller to be told that i could apply for a refund, as i bought this for my son I bought a USA to UK adaptor. When this arrived it also was not compatible with the plug on the LED's. I have returned the item, contacted the seller again to request a refund be told that it was posted about the plug in the sales pitch utter farce.
