Golden Labrador Retriever Dog Statue

I got this as a reminder to have around the house after my 15 year old lab died. It is very realistic looking and small enough to sit out of the way in a corner. I love seeing it and remembering my beloved dog. The size is big enough to seem almost like a real dog, but small enough to not be in the way as a full size statue of my 95 pound lab would be lol. I really like looking over to it often when I am missing her.

I wish this was just a little bit larger and then it would be perfect, but as it is it is still really cute and well made with great detail. I ordered it to go outside, yet still under the cover of the archway by my front doors in front of a tall potted plant. When I first opened the package, I was a bit concerned because while I knew it would be a scaled down size I had envisioned it as a little larger than it actually is. I was afraid it was too small to work for my purpose, however, it does work. It looks very cute, and is visible from the street helping to bring attention to my plant. Combined with the plant it makes a really nice arrangement by my front doors for the spring, summer, and fall.

I've put this lovely statue on my sweet retriever's grave. However I am disappointed that it is strongly recommended that it be stored indoors during inclement weather as winters are so long here. Also, I must note that this was manufactured in China.

This Statue is just gorgeous! And so realistic. I purchased in remembrance of my old lab mix I lost 11 years ago. It's a nice size too! I just love it! I am not going to keep it outside, I am keeping it in my living room so I can see it everyday. Besides that I live in an apartment anyway. I wish they would make one of an American Pitbull - I just adopted one a month ago. If you have a yellow lab or know someone who does, this is a great gift! Thanks!

My daughter bought her dad an amazon gift card - she often does this and he usually gets garden tools, books, CD's etc. so this time he (or rather I) decided to get this adorable little fellow. We got an automated call on the morning of delivery just after 7 a.m. to say our item would be with us before 4.30 that afternoon At around 4.15 a large box arrived with this little dog securely packed in polystyrene (?) and bubble wrap. We had intended to put him in the front porch but he instantly took up residence in the living room, sitting just where our lovely Labrador Max used to sit. We absolutely love him to bits and so will our daughter when she sees him - so much more than screwdrivers and garden shears! Thank you so much. EK
