Brand new 1-pack of 3-piece Plastic Airlock AND #6 Food-Grade Rubber stopper, perfect for home brewing beer, making wine, kombucha, or any type of fermentation. Stopper will fit all 1-gallon jugs and 38mm screw-top jugs, as well as many larger carboys. Contains 1 airlock and 1 stopper. Review: Great buy! - Fits perfectly! Universal size in my opinion. I make a lot of mead so I was in despair when I found out my dad had thrown my old airlock into the recyclables. I bought this as a last ditch effort hoping it would fit my 5 gal jug. Thankfully it does and works perfectly! The stopper it comes with is a bit too small (not horribly, just a tab bit off) but the airlock fits into my old stopper so I just use that instead. Review: Works well - Stoppers work good

Best airlock stopper piece ever!
Worked really well for the brewing process!! Cleaning it was extremely easy and the silicon stopper fit snugly into the gallon jug. Highly recommend and can't wait to use it for my next batch!

A good quality jug
The glass carboy is what it is. A good quality jug. But for the love of god throw the stopper out and buy new ones. Bout two of these and both stoppers were garbage. They don’t grip the bottle and slip out with pressure and trying to get them a little furth in to stay...plop. Right in the bottle. Definitely not size six as claimed or just crap quality. So if your thinking about saving money trying to combo, just buy the car boy and get the stopper elsewhere.

bubble, bubble works like a clock.
makes wine making easier, less chance of loosing it.

Works well, with some extra care. No visible bubbles, hard to tell if fermentation is complete.
I got this airlock to brew kombucha with champagne yeast (hard kombucha). To the naked eye, the airlock doesn't seem to be doing anything. But I took a 15-minute video of it, and sped up the video to play back in 4 seconds. You can see the results in my video-- this thing is pumping like a piston, letting out LOTS of gas. Now I'm very excited to taste my booch when it is done fermenting (about a week more). Like another reviewer stated, the cork part can slip out of your bottle-- especially when you first plug it. I noticed the cork rising out of the bottle slowly, so I removed it and cleaned the cork and inside the bottle mouth, dried them completely, and put it back. Every 15 minutes or so I checked it and early on it started coming out but I kept jamming it back in and eventually it just stayed. This may be a concern when pressure builds up inside but hopefully the airlock will release the excess pressure before the cork is forced out. I was hoping to see more bubbles but this type of airlock won't really produce visible bubbles (especially if you're using clean, filtered water). The float just rises up slowly, lets out air then sinks back down. Very hard to see with the naked eye and easy to assume your yeast is dead or done fermenting when it isn't. Unlike pictures of other airlocks I've seen, this one will not help you determine when your fermentation is complete. You're gonna have to time it. It is plastic and fragile, scary when you're jamming the airlock into the cork (bung) hole. You want it airtight but you can't push it too hard or it will break. Use caution. Disassembly for cleaning is nice.

Ferment any juice!
Get a glass bottle of organic cider, spiced is nice, but you can throw in mulling spices (available on Amazon). If it has preservatives, simmer it with the spices for a few minutes. Add wine yeast (available on Amazon) to the juice at room temperature. Plug in the airlock and leave it alone. Sparkling cider at 2 weeks or wait until it stops bubbling and stabilize it with 4 or more ounces of rum. Happy new year!
