The Turnaround: How to Build Life-Changing Confidence (Sports for the Soul)

I read the other books by Darrin Donnelly and the way he wrote this book is unmatchable!! This book helped me turn my journey in my academics around!!! I highly recommend this book!!!

This is the second Darrin Donnelly book I have read. I’m loving his writing style, fresh perspectives, and how he weaves life changing, fundamental, truths into a story. This book is a good book for anyone to read, but is geared to the sports enthusiast. This is a must for men, and especially young men, core principles of manhood are illustrated through this interesting and enjoyable story.

Through mentoring a young man and his team grow and become successful, some of the things taught are universal and uplifting.

Great read! As a middle school coach it is easy to slip some of the wisdom from The Turnaround into daily practices for all sports.

I never played football, yet I was able to apply all of these life lessons to myself. I found myself implementing the practices even before I finished reading the book, and it has already made me a happier man.

This is my second book to read from Darrin Donnelly, I have taken pages of notes…..I’m about to start another one of his books, my goal is to read all of his books. I share my notes with several people daily.

I'm a sports enthusiasts and Donnelly's books are always relatable. I've read the entire series. The books are educational, exciting and easy to read. I encourage everybody to choose a sport (basketball, boxing, baseball, etc.) and get a book. Keep them coming!

I have read every one of this author's books. My only complaint is that he doesn't put out a book every month. His books are always positive and have interesting story lines for sports fans. This will appeal to a wide age range and the lessons can be applied by all too. Like usual I sat and read this one in less than 24 hours...

Take action and read . This is one of the best series written in a wonderful way. Just go for it.

Awesome inspiring book packed with great tips!

The author lucidly brings out the crucial role of confidence in impacting success, happiness and mental peace in our personal lives. The book nicely teaches how to build confidence, eliminate self doubt, with a winning culture, positive attitude/ self image/self belief, enthusiasm, hard work, passion, minimising obstacles and maximising opportunities. Success is a choice and winning culture is built on confidence, love, caring for each other and willingness to collaborate. We should stop dwelling on past failures and worst moments, keep looking forward, always re channeling by replacing negative memory with positives. The author emphasises the importance of surrounding with positive people, using purpose driven and energising goals, taking risks to achieve greatness, focusing on efforts and attitude. Useful book to shape and reorient our lives with purpose, love, passion, confidence and optimism
