what size is each pot?

from the t-fal web site http://www.t-falusa.com/All+Products/Cookware/Nonstick+Cookware/Products/Ultimate+Hard+Anodized/ULTIMATE+HARD+ANODIZED.htm says the three pots are as follows 5.6 Qt Covered Dutch Oven, 3.2 Qt Covered Sauce Pan,1.1 Qt Covered Sauce Pan, hope this helps.

I see that they sell the 10 in pan separately along with a lid. Does one of the pot lids from the set fit the 10 in pan?

The set, came with 3 sauce pans with lids, 2 fry pans and a Dutch oven with a lid. The largest lid fits the Dutch oven but does NOT fit the larger fry pan. Because of the flare of the sides of the fry pan, the inside diameter is 10-1/4" while the straight-sided Dutch oven inside diameter is 9-1/2". I hope this helps you.

Do the pan lids fit the frying pans?

None of the lids fit the large frying pan. One of them works on the smaller one.

Is it possible for food to get underneath the rivets or are they coated with some material to prevent this issue?

It is coated. We have been using these since last December, and they are great. No issues and we have teenagers that try to destroy them. They have no cooking skills.
