The leather on this feels genuinely good and has that slightly rustic look that I was going for. It is roomy enough to fit everything I need for travel without being bulky and the zipper feels solid and well made. I have been using it for a while now and it is holding up really well with no signs of wear. The size is perfect for carry on and it just looks classy sitting on a bathroom counter. Great gift idea too if you are looking for something for a guy that has a bit more quality to it than the typical toiletry bag.

There are a lot of leather bags around this price range that aren't real leather, or aren't good quality... This isn't one. This is a really nice bag. Only real problem I have with it is the size, I wish they'd make one big enough to use as a laptop bag or something. But for what I had in mind it's a fine size, looks great, well made.

I just purchased this leather toiletry bag and I couldn't be happier. The construction is good. It is a good size with ample storage and is very functional. The main zipper and the zipper on the side pocket are not heavy duty but are not cheap either. The leather is on the softer side. I also love the antique look of the bag. Everything considered this is a great bag and I expect that it will last me for years to come.

The only reason I dinged it is the Rustic Town branding. It's not a renowned brand name that I am going to get any mileage from for showing off, and I'm not here to do their advertising for them. If they want to imprint something on the bag, let it be my initials since I'm the buyer. --- Update in Dec. '23--- Having had this for a couple of years now, along with a Rustic Town overnight bag that I bought it together with, I decided to follow the manufacturers care instructions and give it a light coating of sunflower oil. There was nothing wrong with this toiletry case, but the overnight bag had become a little dried out looking, with marks and scuffs. Since I was oiling the overnight bag, I figured I'll do the toiletry case at the same time. Here is my observation. I started out with the brown toiletry case pictured in this ad. After the oiling, I ended up with something that looks in between the dark brown and chestnut brown offerings also pictured in this ad. The color change was immediate, and although the manufacturer care instructions said that the darkness would resolve in a day or two (you're supposed to wipe off the oil after wiping it on, too, which I did so there was no excess left on the bags), after a week it has not. So if you love the color, I wouldn't advise the sunflower oil route. On the other hand, the new color is absolutely not bad and no worse than what I had before. And, I will say that the softness has really improved. I'm happy with the color, happy if it gradually lightens up but I don't need that to happen, and I'm thrilled with how soft the bag has become. I'll also just add that I've had this for a couple of years now and I do make regular use of it. This is not a junk item. It has stood up to regular use with no signs of wear and tear at all. I'm hoping that my amateur oiling experiment doesn't change it's resistance to weekly travel use, but if you don't oil it I can tell you that it stays as you received it despite regular use. It's biggest enemy is spray from the toothbrush so wipe that off or you'll have little spots. But even if you don't, and they dry on, I was still able to wipe them away with a dampened piece of paper towel.

This is a high quality bag if there ever was one. Gorgeous leather exterior and roomy inside with plenty of space. Superb zipper and classy look.

These leather toiletry bags are well packaged for shipping. The quality is really great, and they are very aesthetic. I gifted a couple of these to friends, and they really enjoyed them, so I purchased one for myself. If you are looking for a rustic style leather toiletry bag, this is it. Because it is made of real leather, it will take a few uses to soften up and become more pliable. I would not hesitate to continue to gift these bags to friends and family.

Just got my Rustic Town toiletry bag delivered today. I can only give first impressions right now since I haven't had a chance to use it yet. The leather is of high quality and very substantial. The design is perfect for me and has plenty of room for what I usually carry in a toiletry bag. The quality zippers function well and with ease and the tabs on either end provide for a simple smooth zip to open and close the main compartment. The carrying handle is also very convenient. The brass "feet" on the bottom of the bag are beautiful and substantial as is the closure snap at the end of the top flap . All of the stitching is tight and straight. There is a smooth lining inside the bag, contrary to some of the reviews I have seen on Amazon that claim it is unlined. I chose the Walnut Brown finish which is rich and dark. The overall appearance is one of beauty and quality, and I expect a very durable bag that will last for years and years. I am extremely pleased with this product and would highly recommend it for yourself or a great gift!

It's built for life. Although new, after a few days, a beautiful patina is forming on the leather. Roomy, has an in-side zippered pocket which is great for protecting glasses, prescriptions, or important items. I have needed a man purse since I got a big phone (not for swag-because my eyes), a vape kit, and you know the usual wallet fare, key cluster and car fob, and a nail clipper. Fits it all no problem ,and could double that. I have had many of this STYLE of man-purse, and my last finally gave up the ghost after the inside lining was too tattered, and the zippers failed. I looked for quite some time and decided on this one. I am super impressed with the quality and the cost. I feel bad that I paid so little for the value given. The artisan included a hand-signed thank you and care note, also appreciated. I will be buying this for my two sons so that they may go forth and normalize the Murse. Do yourself a favor and include this one in your short list of choices. I can't speak for you, but this one is top of the heap for me. Good luck and cheers.

Sehr gute Kultur-Tasche. Bin beruflich ca. 4 bis 5 Nächte unterwegs und habe beim Auspacken der Tasche gedacht, oh etwas klein; aber nein passt alles was man so braucht rein. Sieht sehr edel aus. Aber warum muss eine Kulturtasche Edel aussehen? Nun stellt Euch vor Ihr bekommt Besuch im Hotelzimmer und habt nur eine Kulturtasche aus Nylon oder Jeans! OK Spaß muß sein

As advertised but not being used for wash bag. Wet would not improve the lovely leather. I use it to keep sewing bits in.
