First, Excellent seller. Second, the product is pure genius, easy to install and once on, you forget its there. It just does seamlessly what is supposed to do, sensors are accurate and siren very loud. Sensor lights which go on at dark are perfect for moving around the house. Although not compatible with Alexa, you can enable google voice assistance (yes its a google assistant as well) and arm it via voice. Just create a custom routine to shorten the command. One accessory i would have liked to pair it with is an external siren. Not supported but maybe someone has found a way. Please reply if you did. Definitely grab one as soon as you can before it goes extinct and the prices sky rocket. You will NOT regret it.

It's been a long time coming; now in the bag! Used to have a Canary cam with an integrated alarm, a very loud one, at that. Problem is you'd have to fire it manually in case of problems; which is sub optimal in a rapidly developing situation. The main motivator for me going for this one is because I'd gotten myself a Nest X Yale Lock some time back, and I wanted to exploit the intergration between the two. I was horrified on the first day when that didn't work. It was only after I'd activated the Google Assistant on the Guard that I was able to access and activate that option. And so far, I am largely pleased with it. Couple of gripes though: 1; it would be nice to have the Home/Guarding mode on a (nightly) schedule, instead of only having to manually activate it. 2; it would be most convenient if the thing used the Home/Away feature to automatically arm itself when no registered fone is withing the defined perimeter and disarm itself conversely. The lock locks itself automatically whenever I leave, so it is a wonder why the hub won't follow suit. UPDATE:09/03/2023 - It would seem that if the option to require a password before the system may be armed is set, then that prevents any mode of remote arming from taking place. This became clear to me when I was running my set routines; the assistant reports that the settings in effect inhibit any means to arm the system remotely. Yes, Google doesn't make it anymore, but they're providing update support on existing units, so no worries for me there. All in all, I am happy with this purchase. UPDATE: The updated sole star is by no means a reflection on Amazo, but on Google. Well, Google has decided to kill this product next year; so in less than a year it will be useless brick. Yes, that's exactly what Google think of their customers and their hard earned money: cr*p. At this rate, I can't recommend that people seek DIY solutions from Google at all. Terribly disappointed by such appalling treatment by Google.

We have recently moved and gave our old nest system to my parents, not realizing that the entire system was discontinued by nest. What a bummer. Google Nest is now partnered with ADT so you can get their camera/smart system integrated with ADT but the fee is outrageous, especially if you work from home - doesn’t make sense. So glad this seller still has some new Nest systems available. Everything came sealed and packaged just like our original. System just needed a few updates to software and we were ready to go.
