Generic Live Chaeto Chaetomorpha Macro Algae Reef Refugium Saltwater Plant Marine

It took about a week and a half to arrive. Came it proper packaging with a slight leak in the bag that was holding the algae. Their was still plenty of water though. I got about a fist full of algae. And I have no complaints, it looks healthy and should be able to grow without any problems. Also their were no hitchhikers as well. I recommend this seller.

I have set up a 10 gal saltwater tank as a quarantine tank for all new purchases. I used a small external basket made for baby fish as my refugium and this chaeto was the perfect size for the center chamber. Instructions said to rinse and look for unwanted pests, and it was healthy, green and pest-free. The refugium has an LED light and all is well. Thanks.

Came in perfect condition and even with a couple of amphipods

Besides incorrect delivery date, meaning I had planned that day off from work to get the cheato. It arrived early and I was at work. Very small amount so gave it my best. Water is good, the correct light on a timer and cheato food. 40 gal sump with good sized area with flow. Cheato had melted away within 2 weeks. Nothing remained and the chamber is totally empty.

I guess you would call it 2 golf balls size. Was nice and green and no visible pests. I let it set in a container of tank water and watched it for a bit, shook it, nothing came out.

I only received a small handfull of Chaeto but it was clean in appearance and had no visible bristle worms or other critters. Wish there was more for the price.

After adding this chaeto and pairing it with a refugium light, my saltwater aquarium’s nitrate and phosphate levels dropped to nearly 0 ppm. It also helped slow the growth of nuisance algae in the display tank. On top of that, I noticed a boost in my copepod and amphipod population, likely because the chaeto provides both a food source and shelter for them.
