Optimus 3.0 GPS Tracker Bundle - Vehicle & Asset Tracking - 1+ Mo Battery

I bought this GPS tracker to keep an eye on my son, who tends to be a little reckless and always on the move, and I wanted something reliable that would give me peace of mind. This device has honestly been awesome. The setup was simple and it took about 30 minutes for the GPS to fully calibrate and lock in, but once it did and I activated the $24.99 monthly subscription everything worked exactly how I hoped it would. The tracking is extremely accurate and I can see the exact location in real time, plus it shows how long the device stayed at a certain spot which has been really helpful because it lets me see where he has been and how long he stayed there. The battery life is also impressive because I was worried I would constantly have to recharge it, but it holds a charge much longer than I expected and for something this small it is surprisingly dependable. The tracking updates are very fast and you can choose how frequently you want it to update depending on how closely you want to monitor movement. The size is also super convenient since it is small enough to place just about anywhere without being noticeable. The app also allows you to set up notifications and alerts, although I personally prefer just checking it manually whenever I want. Overall the signal is strong, the updates are reliable, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. If you are looking for a GPS tracker that is accurate, dependable, and has great battery life I would definitely recommend this one because it gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing I can quickly check where my son is when I need to.

This thing works great. I've tried othertrackers and either I can't get them to work or the subscriptions are very costly. This one is easy to set up, easy to install in my vehicle and is pretty accurate. Best part is the battery lasts a long time and you have several options for how often it reports which saves battery life if you have it report less frequently. This would be my recommendation for anyone looking for a low cost effective tracker. Just be sure if you use the magnet to attach to a vehicle that it is secure and will not get jostled loose and fall off. I lost one that way when we hit a bump really hard

Size It's a tiny box, 3.5x2x2 inches, Inside a very well-sealed weatherproof box. Magnets are oversized and very powerful. Most of the weight is from magnets. Itself, the unit weighs mere grams. App When vehicle parked for extended periods, I instruct it to update location every 30 mins. This makes the battery last about 3 months. Even though setting is 30 min, it won't really update unless vehicle moves. "Last seen 55 min ago." But, it does auto-update location if vehicle starts moving, and it will actually continue to update every 25-30 min on that setting. GPS accuracy Depends on where you install it. Clear view of sky or not? Big City with lots of tall buildings or countryside? Overall, accuracy is as good as your mobile phone would be. Under vehicle, precision is about 100-200 feet. In the truck bed, covered by plastic liner, 3 foot super-accuracy. In the glovebox, under dash, about 40-50 feet. Under plastic bumpers, about 20-30 feet. Inside door pockets, or anywhere inside vehicle, about 10 feet. But then thieves can see it too. Battery When the kids take the vehicle, I set it on 5 min updates, but battery lasts <2 weeks then. I like that it charges to full battery in ~90 min, through a regular USB-C port. Rugged It has so far survived two 130F summers and zero degree winters, car washes, mud, ice, rains, dust. It doesn't fall off when you go off-road. Magnets are really oversize and really really strong. Overall great product, It does what it should. Have had it for about a year now, without issues. I thought about using a cheap mobile phone, but then you'd constantly have to connect it to a charging cable. Doubt you'd get 3 months battery from a cell phone. Phone is not as rugged as this device to survive heat, freeze, humidity, etc.

This is amazing tracker. It does everything it’s supposed to do however, when you discontinue the services for whatever reasons and then try to reactivate that system it doesn’t want to reactivate that I’ve tried it multiple times. Finally, I just had to buy a new tracker and reactivate it or activated brand new

I have zero complaints. I have been using this everyday for 3 weeks now and the battery level is at 34%. To me that is good. I do have it set to update every 10 seconds so the tracking is more accurate. I was a little confused at first because the lines were not showing on the road and was delayed but once I figured the setting (which is pretty easy) I corrected it. If I choose to buy another I would most definitely pick this again.

This product was good at first. Then I had one that would not stop vibrating. It wouldn't turn off, you couldn't reset it or anything. Customer was good about that one. They requested I send it back as they were sending me a replacement. The replacement worked for a VERY SHORT amount of time before it wouldn't hold a charge at all. I called customer service MULTIPLE times to get a resolution. Of of the 4-5 people I spoke with, all would give me the same advice about how to plug it in and charge it properly (it was always charged properly). Told me to take the tracker for a ride and it would reset it and it would work just fine. Never happened. Just called to cancel my service and was told the last time I called was 4 months ago. My last call was only a month ago. They don't even keep accurate notes and records. When I ask for refund of some of my money because this hasn't been working for 8 months. That is 8 months of me calling trying to get resolution. The answer was "We will open a ticket and keep you in the loop". Are you kidding me right now? That translates into, no you will not be receiving a refund due to our lack of ability to perform our jobs and produce a working item. Very disappointing Optimus, very disappointing.

Awsome device for the price. Functions as expected. Pretty accurate. Only thing is I wish you could deactivate it remotely if need be and burn it (figuratively speaking) so it cant be traced if discovered of your using it for say a cheating spouse and he happens to take his car to the mechanic for service and its discovered. However, you can give it commands from the app like how often to update and turn on/off power saver mode. But no deactivate command or burn command.

I bought 1 tracker first to try it out on my dump trailer. After couple of months with it I loved it, it sends alerts when it senses any movement or strong vibrations it tells you the time and the exact address where it's at. I ended up ordering another 2 for my work truck and my skid steer have them now for about 1 year and so far been good no problems and very reliable trackers. Cheap insurance 💪🏽. The only downside from these is it's $20 a month for each one I wish if you had multiple ones you get a discount.

Is very helpful and easy to install. Is worth buying it.

It is not accurate enough and the battery last no more than a week
