OTTERBOX Symmetry Clear Series Case for iPhone 6 PLUS/6s Plus (5.5" Version) - Retail Packaging - Black Crystal (Clear/Black)

5 stars so far, will update the review once I've dropped my phone. This is my first time splurgining on a case. I usually have spent $10 on TPU cases and they've worked just fine. But I LOVED the design of the purple geometric floral! I put it on my phone last night and immediately noticed a difference. It fits the phone snugly, there are no weird gaps anywhere. It feels GREAT in my hand too. Very sleek and slim. The design is well done, the lines are very clear and colors are vibrant. The case back is hard plastic and the purple bumpers are a hard rubber. There is a lip around the screen so the screen won't get scratch if you place it face down. The buttons are relatively easy to press. Overall I think with this case and my glass screen protector, my phone will be safe and fashionable. Will update once phone is accidentally dropped.

I bought this case for my daughter and it is a quality product by Otterbox. What is better is that it does not break the bank. I purchased it for $35. While you can get cases for $10 on Amazon I felt comfortable with the increase in price because (a) it was Otterboax brand; (b) the materials are quality; and (c) the graphics are well done and generally unavailable at the lower price points. Some reviewers complain that this does not feel like the same rugged construction that other Otterboxs employ. But this products is an alternative to those and a good one. Those other products are protect for all (many) perils while this Box is a compromise of look/feel and protection. It is sleek rather than bulky. In fact the material is the type that is smooth to the touch and does not get hung on other materials. It provides protection for the primary killer of Iphones - the drop. The rubber interior is quality material and provides a good cushion for the phone to set in. The beveled/extended edge ("screen bumper" as Otterbox calls it) protects against the face plant that has destroyed many a screen. I personally do not buy a case anymore without this feature. I like that the buttons are covered on the side. It simply covers one more point of possible water or dirt infiltration. It does not come with a screen protector but frankly I buy those separately. Good product and worth the extra money.

I have five phones in my family and every single one of them have this case. In fact, I will not buy a phone unless the OtterBox Symmetry fits it. This is without question the best slimline case there is out there. Maybe not as protective as a Defender - so if you’re going to drop it off of a roof I would imagine it will break but I’ve dropped my phones numerous times and so far I have never had an issue - and this is about the ninth symmetry case I have bought for iPhones and Samsung’s. The only gripe I have is the rubber can become a little bit loose around the volume key and speaker after about eight months or so, but they have a one-year warranty. A bit of a lesser concern is if you set it down with the case side down it has a tendency to slip or slide (in the car, etc) but if you put it facedown so that the phone glass is towards the ground, the rubber pretty much keep it from moving off of the dashboard of my car. Once I even left it on my roof and drove home and the wow, the phone was still there - although I would not recommend testing that!! So get in the habit of setting your phone down facedown with this case on it.

I had been using an Otterbox Defender for my iPhone 6, but kept having issues with dust getting under the case. This one, also by Otterbox, looked like it would be a good replacement and it would be ... if I didn't work outside. To put it mildly, this case is slick. I didn't even think about that since Otterbox's usually have good grips on them. If you're not at risk of sweating, having wet hands for any reason, then this case does a good job of being a snug-fit, protecting the corners of the phone, covering the screen enough that you could sit the phone down on its face without worrying about scratching the screen since the beveled edge protects it, but if you might have anything slippery on your hands be very careful with this case. I've dropped my phone less than 5 times in 10 years. I dropped this one 3 times in the first 30 minutes of using it. I was working on building a frame for a storage building, probably 78-80 degrees and was sweating. Wife texted, pulled the phone out of my pocket, dropped it. Went to put phone back in pocket, dropped it again. About 20 minutes later was walking to my truck and dropped it while checking the weather. I put the Defender back on once to my truck and started the return process with Amazon. Oh and it's a pretty case, the cutouts are all right and all buttons work well. It's just that slipping problem. Good news is, the case protected the 3 drops, but the bad news is, I don't like taking the chance that it will keep protecting the phone from drops. Four star case if you're not at risk of the phone slipping.

I had gotten an iphone 8 plus around november of 2017 and bought a magenta symmetry otterbox case that i really liked. When i got bored of the plain design, i took to amazon to look for a new one. I ended finding the symmetry series, bit at that point, there were no very many designs like there is now; in fact, this was one of the only types they had! But it was super cute so i bought it for around $40. This is probably the best phone case I’ve ever had! It is November of 2018 and its still going strong. A little dirty on the rubber part (my fault though) but after countless hard drops on pavement amd tile alike, the plastic of the case has not cracked, nor has my phone been harmed. The case is very light but extremely protective, which are two factors i consider the most important. After almost an entire year, i can say that I’ll be sticking with the symmetry case series for quick some time....an incredible investment for anyone!!

Otterbox has made a forever name in the world of electronic protection products to those who have used them ... this case is none the less & in my opinion better than the previous cases in the past. It’s definitely smaller, slimmer & more convenient to carry & use. Even though the bulk & psychology that bulkiness offers more protection is gone - this case is just as protective as the defender if not better - I’ve dropped my phone & fumbled it from pretty high up onto concrete & watched it literally bounce like a ball to a safe landing ... no damage to my phone or even to the case.... this case does not have the screen protector attached, which I like bc I use the glass screen protectors & in the past those hooked to the case caused me problems with touch screens. It has a beveled edge on the front so it's higher than your screen keeping it from having to lay flat face on a surface & the same for the back protecting your camera. It also covers the buttons & extends further than the openings you need to access but doesn’t hinder getting to them easily. The only thing I don’t like is the rubber front does get dirty & is visible & bc the back is plastic there’s a small gap between the front & back where debris does accumulate but these things are inevitable with any case. But I’ve bought others in different colors bc i like it that much, it’s attractive & beyond serves it’s purpose. Oh & the warranty process - if you need to replace it for any reason you just go online to the warranty page, pick your brand of phone & type of case, fill in your personal info, pay a $5.99 shipping fee & a new one is sent out to you. Don’t even have to call anybody or deal with the auto prompts when calling 800 numbers lol

Fantastic case, much much better than the bulky otter box cases that I had seen before. Very slim. Very snug fit to phone. Taking it off once it's on can be done, it's not a problem, it just fits more tightly than any other case I've previously used. The case is so classy. The front is black on all the edges. There is a softer rubber portion to the case (the front side portions, there's no actual front to the case) and a harder plastic-like portion: The clear backing and half of the black leading in to it. The one thing I would change would be making the front lip stick out a little further. It works just fine, even great, but with the tempered glass screen protector I use it comes extremely close to just sitting flush when I lay it face down. I haven't dropped my phone face down yet (knock on wood) and I don't plan on testing it but it would probably still protect my screen. Great case!

This case is pretty. That's all it is. Pretty. It looks great but it gets dirty, it doesn't really do anything to keep your phone safe. My phone fell to the floor and thankfully nothing happened because I had a screen protector on. The tampered glass has a crack right down the middle of the phone. It slides off of your hands easily and doesn't really have or offer much protection to your phone screen. I bought this case because my last one broke and I don't really like the bulky cases (maybe after this one I will consider one like the Otter Box which I've had before). I gave it a 3 in "durability" because the case itself has not broken or anything. I have it a 4 "for value for money" because the case was inexpensive and you get what you pay for really. I gave it a 5 "easy to assemble" because it really IS that easy, just click it on and keep on with your day. I give this a 3 over all for product because it doesn't really do what a case is SUPPOSED to do which is keep your phone safe from falls etc, even though I knew when buying it that it wouldn't really be THE case to keep my phone safe. Really, if you're on the look for a good phone case, go with otter box.

Muy bonita y luce genial puesta porque resalta el color y detalles del cel. Es lo suficientemente gruesa para proteger, pero no tanto como para hacer muy bultoso el celular.

Arrived quickly, feels lovely to hold and seems very quite protective too. I've only dropped it once on wood floor so far, and nothing happened. Seems durable and built to last me a while (hopefully!) I would suggest a tempered glass screen protector to be worn with it, as I don't think the bumper will prevent screen from making contact when dropped (and shattering).

Seit 2 Jahren und 9 Monaten schützt die OtterBox nun mein IPhone 6. Mir ist das Handy schon gefühlt hunderte male aus der Tasche gefallen, auf Fliesen, Tischkanten, Asphalt, Beton, Kieselsteine Pflastersteine, einfach überall hin, in sämtlichen Winkeln, Display voraus, Kanten, Etc und ich bin froh zu verkünden das mein Handy nicht einen einzigen Kratzer hat. Gut nach über 2 (fast 3) Jahren Benutzung sieht die Otterbox ziemlich Ramponiert aus aber sie tut nach wie vor das was sie soll und zwar das Handy vor Schäden schützen und das nach wie vor genau so wie es sein soll! Mein nächstes Handy wird definitiv wieder in eine Otterbox gesteckt!
