You know it is time to look for new kitchen shears when your old one merely bends the package material over rather then cutting it as you intended. So I bought the Qwelkit Kitchen Sears and as the description about them says, razor sharp. It has been the difference between night and day with our cutting needs. These are very good shears which so far have cut vegetables and packages of all kinds. Those packages that formally folded now are cut with ease. And my wife like them as they can be used in either hand and are soft to hold. These shears come with a sheath to protect them and said sheath also holds magnets so that your shears can be on the refrigerator door where they are easy to find. We however have paired these shears with some Cuisinart knives that also have sheaths. It makes a nice set in the drawer. I find this kitchen shear extremely good and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Hey - they're kitchen scissors and I don't ask a lot of them, but they come through every time and cut things up whenever I use them. They have cut paper, and frozen food boxes, and even those tricky little bags inside the frozen food boxes with the cheese and broccoli. Even thought they aren't self cleaning, which would have been a nice feature, they were popped in the dishwasher and cleaned up just fine! Best news was they fit in my "scissor" slot in the knife cube. Yeah! 1

These seem to be good kitchen shears. Professional? I don't think so. Useful? Definitely. Razor sharp? Not really. But they are what I expected,and a fair value.

OMG, sharp scissors in my kitchen again! I have been working with my oldies, but goodies, and suffering through cutting chickens, etc. So I feel blessed to have these new scissors in my kitchen once again!!! They are wonderful. Cut and bagged a chicken in record time the other night. Nice to have tools in the kitchen that do what they are supposed to do and more!!! Very, very happy with my purchase and recommend them highly.

We were tired of our dollar store scissors we were trying to use in the kitchen. Some things they would cut and most things they did not! Finally decided to get a pair of real kitchen shears. These QwelKit kitchen shears are the perfect scissors for cutting whatever you need in the kitchen. They are heavy and you can tell just by picking them up that they are not the same as the dollar store scissors! I would recommend these for anyone looking for a very good but inexpensive pair of ktichen shears!

I picked up several of these during one of Amazon's Lightning Deals as stocking stuffers this past Christmas. They look good and have a solid, well-made feel to them. We ended up using a pair ourselves when the handle on our more expensive shears broke unexpectedly. They're serrated, which is handy for utility shears, and sharp enough for a lot of uses, but don't bite through things like dog rib bone treats the way our Wusthof shears did. And the magnetic sheath, while a decent idea, doesn't have strong enough magnetism to keep them on the side of the refrigerator. They do hang nicely, with or without the sheath, from our magnetic knife bar. I'd recommend these as good all-around utility shears, but not for demanding kitchen tasks. They're inexpensive though, and for a price like the $10 Lightning Deal, they're quite nice.

Excellent product. Shears make simple work of opening heavy plastic. I use them to cut the 6-packs of Costco chicken wings and thighs so they can be stored. Love the cap that protects from getting hurt and also love that it's magnetic so can be on the side of the refrigerator so it is available and easy to find when you need it.

They do what is expected. I really like the magnetic cover included. It provides a handy hanging place on the side of my fridge- makes for easy access to these scissors!
