Useful power connector for generic devices
I make all sorts of devices, and when I need them to plug into the wall safely, I like to use a generic inlet like this one. What makes this really nice is that it includes a fuse and a lit switch. It's pretty easy to change the fuse, and it can make the difference between making an electronics project or a fire hazard.

Good DPST, fused switch. Convenient spaded terminals
All the wiring is spaded, so if for some reason you want to, you can replace it, e.g. change to heavier gauge. The fuse inside is a glass tube, mine says 15A.... To test the fuse and wiring I ran a 16A load for about 2 minutes. The wiring did not get warm at all. The fuse didn't blow, but I did not want to run higher to see where it would. The crescent terminals fit fine into a meanwell power supply screw-down terminals. Switch is stiff, unlikely to get accidentally turned on or off. Overall I'm happy with it. Used one on a power supply project, will find a use for the other someday.

Fuse and Switch Amp are not coordinated
I had one of these burn out and assumed it was just defective. But after receiving my new one, i pulled apart the old one and found the switch portion had melted and the switch was only rated for 10A while they fuse it with a 15A fuse. Beware you are not protected by that fuse.

Switch melted before fuse blew
Worked fine until it didn't. Switch melted and shorted, fuse never blew. Thankfully I had it plugged into a GFCI. I bought a 2 pack but will be throwing the 2nd away rather than replacing the melted one. Definitely not rated as advertised. Use only for very low loads.

Tried to burn the house down
like the other reviews, switch & wiring melted before fuse blew. not worth the risk to life and limb
