I bought this in 2023 and has worked great. It’s easy to use and set up. The quality for all the cameras is pretty clear. My only dislike is the rear camera installation inside because I had to buy a separate mount because otherwise the camera would only point downward. It started malfunctioning about a month ago with the display freezing or sometimes not turning on completely. GET THE INSURANCE. I put in a claim with the insurance I purchased when I bought the dashcam and the next day within a few hours of dropping off the dashcam at UPS I received the reimbursement as an Amazon gift card and I used it to buy another. Overall great camera and I just bought another one. 👍

Purchased the item in December 2024, was able to set it up in January 2025, everything seemed to be working fine until July 2025 , the backup camera was glitching and only showing for about 5 seconds , then would re appear , I pressed the reset button numerous times to try and resolve but it didn’t fix, I reached out to AZDOME and they were able to send me a replacement backup camera within 2 days and hoping to solve the issue, unfortunately the same exact issue was happening so it seemed it it was the whole dashcam itself needed to be replaced.. I reached out to AZDOME on July 17 2025 , they replied back the next day to inform me a replacement will be on the way . On July 25 I reached out to them again to ask for a tracking number .. absolutely no reply , so I reached out to them via Amazon August 2 2025 stating I was waiting for a replacement and never received , they replied back August 4 2025 and apologized and stated once again a replacement is on the way.. i reached out to them now via email on August 8 2025 to provide a screenshot of my conversation via Amazon and to reconfirm if I was going to receive a replacement and once again NO REPLY ..on August 12 I reached out to them AGAIN via Amazon to inform them no replacement has arrived, on August 13 they replied via email and stated my item will arrive August 13 2025.. at first I was like ok same day shipping thats nice of them .. I NEVER received the replacement dashcam ! It is now August 15 2025 and nothing ! I read so many reviews on this company and thought ok I’ll give them a shot and I was actually even going to buy another for my other vehicle , now I have do more research on another dashcam brand.. and now it just so happens that the dashcam isn’t useable now .. it started glitching ! Waste of 100$ Update : it was late but I finally received a replacement , after a few months of waiting I just gave up and bought a different camera from a competitor, unfortunately that camera didn’t have as good of quality as AZDOME so I just took my losses, however out of the blue melody from AZDOME reached out to me directly and seen that I never received my replacement and sent me a replacement and I revived it a few days later from her reaching out !Everything seems to be working perfect without any glitches ,thank you so much melody for assisting me.. originally I was not going to make another purchase due to the lack of communication I originally had however since she was able to provide a replacement I have no problem purchasing more products for my other vehicles as well as recommending this product to friends and family, camera quality is excellent just had the original issue with the back up camera but that is now 1000% solved thanks again melody from AZDOME !!!!!I will be a repeat customer !

Its a very good Dash-cam.Nice 2k resolution.3 cameras at affordable price.very easy installation & easy to use with great wifi,gps and live speed .

I've been using this cam for a while now. It's pretty easy to use, and the picture quality is good. When videos are played back in the accompanying app, a map also comes up showing your route during the video, along with the speed limits of the roads you traveled, your vehicle speed, time, date, and GPS coordinates. It's REALLY THOROUGH, and would be a REAL HELP in COURT! The app also lets you pick which of the three cameras you want showing. About the only disappointment is that it doesn't automatically update the time, especially when going from Daylight Savings to Standard Time. This could trip you up if you're using a video for evidence, as if the time is wrong, the other side's lawyer could use it against you. The unit is really small, so it doesn't block your view. It's menu is pretty easy to use; basically UP. DOWN, and OK buttons to access everything, with no "hidden" menu items you need to "long press" to find. I haven't had any serious issues with the camera. It does have a couple of idiosyncrasies though: 1. It will randomly not turn on when the engine is started. It's not a huge deal, as pressing the ON/OFF button will turn it on. It's a minor annoyance. The camera makes emits an easily heard tone when it turns on, so it's pretty easy to tell if it hasn't. 2. I get random pop-ups saying "Please format SD card," with an OK and CANCEL choice. I'm not sure why it does this. I just do the CANCEL and go on with my life. If OK is selected, the SD card is reformatted and all recorded data is lost. I've yet to try downloading recordings from the SD card when I get that alert to see if the existing data is corrupted. I will update this review once I've tried this. 3. If you're a ham operator, as I am, the camera interferes with VHF frequency 146.520 Mhz as well as its harmonics with a pronounced "motorboating" sound. This usually happens when the camera first turns on, and continues for up to a half hour. The QRM is strong enough that you can't squelch it out. After that half hour, the QRM drops the point where it's still there, but at a much lower level, rendering the frequencies useful again. I believe it has something to do with the camera's charging system. The camera uses what the manufacturer calls a "super capacitor" as a battery, so it discharges quite a bit between uses. I'm currently looking at running the camera through a USB battery bank to the power source to keep it under power 24/7. True, this will defeat the auto-on/off of the camera, but it may get rid of the QRM. It will also let the camera run in "Sentry Mode" to keep an eye on my car while I'm away from it. This normally requires a "3-wire adapter" for he camera, which is not included. I will update this review once I've tried this.

At least I got it on sale so I don't feel like I burned a lot of money, and I believe it will be useful if I ever need a front-camera recording for an incident but other than that it's been only so-so. Pros: Easy to install, I even found a way to mound the back camera to my SUV, and I guess running the wires wasn't too bad. Worked easily from the start, not complicated to set up. 3 cameras is better than 1 or 2. Cons: Read camera basically can't capture anything useful at night. There is literally no night vision, I have no idea why there would be any claim of this. Also, since I've had it in my car now for about 3 months, it's randomly told me I need to format the SD 4 times. I formatted it before initial use, everything seemed fine, and randomly 4 times already when starting up my car instead of it working & recording right away it tells me I need to format the SD. Its the SD that came with it, the one the company recommends ahead of any other SD card. Lastly, accessing the video files is a pain with the WiFi feature, most of the time the App can barely browse or download, and its also hard to tell which video is which camera recorded at what time. Pulling the card to read it off a computer is a lot easier, only did that once because that's cumbersome unless I REALLY need a recording. Access to the videos is extremely not friendly, nevermind that they occasionally all get wiped due to the random decision the device says the card needs to be formatted. If you ever need the recordings off it, get them off the SD fast before it decides it's time to format. Update 3/29/2024: Downgrading to 1 star. It got worse. Tonight I almost got ran off the road by another car that was swerving in & out of traffic and after the incident I managed to pull up behind them close enough to what should have captured their license plate. When I got home and went to look at the videos on the SD card I saw that the last time it recorded anything was 9 days before even though the recording indicator on the main camera display is always on when it's powered on. This dash cam fails in every way possible to do the one core job it was made to do. Can anyone recommend a better 3-camera setup for an SUV? This one had good reviews and I don't like playing roll-the-dice on products that are purchased for a critical need.

Just replaced my old one just to update it old one still works fine and I have had that one for over 5 years. So definitely worth his money. And will last you a long time! And easy and to install!

I purchased this Camera for my partner's birthday, as an on-the-spot idea moment. I did my research, and I felt fairly confident that what this device had to offer, was exactly what I felt comfortable loaded into my partner's car. I purchased the additional kit to have it hard-wired to the car battery, to record when she was away from th vehicle. Immediately, her brand new battery kept draining (yes, wiring was verified to be correct). A couple months later, through the summer, this device began *Melting*. Not a big deal, so as long as everything still works. It wasn't long after that, that the device just kept Freezing and not starting up with the car. It would crash and reboot, only to be stuck on the logo. Mind you, this is *after* I had unplugged the front facing camera, which caused it to 100% freeze during bootup if left in.. Bottom line, this camera was a neat idea on paper. Modular and slim.. but in reality, it's current design simply can not keep up with today's demands. I would love to get a replacement, if that were offered. TL;DR PROS - Really good picture quality and slim design - Installed easily; Worked... at first. - Comes with a questionably cheap 64GB "free" SD card - Modular design is very neat - Good support TL;DR CONS: - Stopped working after a couple months, which is basically the worst con ever. - Difficult to use app for the wifi feature - - - - - - - - EDIT: 1/31/2023 - I was not asked to edit this review, but after posting it, AZDOME reached out and gave me a full refund. My device may have just been faulty. I am happy to see the support that backs this project. Thank you! This device is still worth a try.

I was totally confused when I was deciding as to which dash cam to buy for my car, and that's when I tumbled upon the Azdome 550 on Amazon. Ca. This a fantastic value for money package you can get in the market today. It is a 3 Channel dashcam which means it captures front, rear + in cabin view. Total assurance. The camera quality is superb which captures details in great quality. As good as my smartphone. Simply awesome. Installation was super easy and the product packaging was awesome. The product quality is good enough when it comes to fit and finish. The package comes with: Main dashcam + GPS mount Interior dash cam Rear dash cam Charging wire Extra set of adhesive tape Wire insert tool Manual Sd card Areas where this product can definitely improve: 1) the length of wire - main charger. In Certain cars(minivans and larger suvs) the cigarette lighter is situated in the centre console beneath the driver armrest. 5-8 inches of increase in the wire length will help address this issue. 2) Inclusion of a SD card reader. As this product doesn't support cloud transfer, you'll have to depend on the sd card to be inserted in your laptop. A SD card reader would have been a Cherry on the cake. HOWEVER you can download the sd card videos on your phone, but that eats up the phone storage. 3) The adhesive quality on wire hooks definitely needs to improve. The stick tape behind the wire holders is below quality. But i didn't use any, so it's ok for me. Rest, the product is superb, and i definitely recommend it. I purchased one more the next day for my brother's car. He loves it too.

The item works well. It records all video and audio clearly, even at night. The battery capacity could be improved though. Sometimes it turns off on the first minute of switching the engine. Maybe because the battery is low, but after switching manually, it works perfectly fine.
